The Jungle Book: 6/10

Eh. I guess I’m not really the demographic they were aiming for. But it just felt very dull, especially the first half. It got a little better once Bill Murray as Baloo was introduced. He was great. And Chris Walken was also great as the Orangutan. The little kid was amazing.

I think you're the one high with the MK Annihilation avatar lol
That's a custom pic I'm workin' on right now! :nono
You wouldn't be able to see **** on the "Annihilation" one.

And yeah, MKA is a terrible film that had lots of potential.
Watchin' it in HD is a lotta fun tho. Those Baraka dudes are hillariously bad!

As much as I love that film, it's got some problems. Most can be ignored. I think what bugs me the most is neither Sub Zero and Scorpion were Asian, and they casted a midget for SZ. Watch the fight between him and Liu Kang, it's like he's fighting a little boy :lol

None of them got any backstory or face time so it's irrelevant.
Francois Petit is a bit taller than Bruce Lee.

Come on, it's a great film for what it is.
Especially considerin' that it was made in mid 90s.

It's a great video game film and it's very 90s and that's fine. I don't hate it, not at all. It could of been the start of a truly amazing series where they delve deep into the lore and all... but didn't. It was a great commercial of what may have been, and was Anderson's best work.

MKA should of just copied MKII's plot, but no... they jumped the shark by diving right into MKIII.

I like him too, but Lambert left too much of impression to be replaced. He carried such a wisdom and power as Raiden. No the first time he played a badass immortal :monkey3

Why the hell did they think it was a good idea to make him and Shao Kahn brothers? Ugh :lol

I know! When I watched that scene I couldn't believe it. It's like the producer/director didn't even bother to look at the video game! WTF!!
But this movie was a joke anyway. The height discrepancy between the characters was the least of their problems.

Well, Liu Kang did have his fireball at the end. There was a few other instances of game moves making it in too like Liu's bicycle kick, Sonya's leg flip and Cage's shadow kick (although it only looked like that since he was dive kicking into Scorpion's portal teleporting thing)

By the way, Clancy Brown voiced Raiden for the MK animated series.
Also, MK film's screenwriter was a supervising producer and writer for Season 1 of the Highlander series.
Pretty cool, huh? :lol

It didn't bother me as much as freaking Shinnok bein' their father.

I've seen episodes of jersey shore with better fight scenes. (and acting)
