Calling Brazil a terrible film doesn't help your argument, but hey, films are subjective.

Yup, films are subjective to how obtuse one is :lol

Films have gone over my head too, only to revisit them time later and go HOLY ****!

dude. it's a movie that covers freedom all the way to being apart of a commercialized, media driven society. i don't think you understand that i'm not proving that i know what the themes are. i'm just saying that the last 2 are unnecessary as far as sequels go. IMO.
You've proven that you don't know the themes of the sequels. And no, the sequels don't go over the same stuff the first one does, seriously, I'm not being salty, I don't mean this as a taunt, I'm just telling you that it looks like you have no idea what the Matrix sequels go into judging by what you've told me.

If you don't like them and don't care about re-examining them, it's ok, I'm fine with that.

I'm not sure I trust the Wachowski's anymore, but at the same time they might be the only people I trust revisiting their material. If someone else takes over it might feel like fanfiction.

Still, I have no idea where they can take the story. I wouldn't mind a new trilogy with some new characters as long as the old cast returns in some way. Maybe they can do a new Aimatrix or some CGI/animated show on Netflix or something if they can't make a new film.

After watching the trilogy, I'd like some merchandise and figures from it even more so than a new film. Why isn't there any merchandise? No Neca figures or even those funko pop things. Nothing. :dunno

Even hot toys got stuck in limbo with releasing merchandise only thing they released was squid, only thing i loved from the matrix was anytime they were plugged in, real world killed it for me, something they did right in the first one but messed up horrible in the last two

*scaled relative to other kids' movies*

Trolls: 7/10

About as by the numbers as you can get, but entertaining enough. Not so far removed from your typical Marvel Studios movie in terms of predictability and entertainment value, in fact.

I've been home a few days so I watched a lot of stuff, so here goes....

The Hunger Games 8.5/10
Catching Fire 8/10
Mockinjay Pt 1 - 7/10
Mockingjay Pt 2 8/10
F.I.S.T - 8/10
The Pride and the Passion - 6/10 Cary Grant is one of my favorite actors but even he can't save this one from being a snooze fest...and what can I say of Sinatra playing a Spaniard...only LMAO
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - 7/10 So bad it's good category. Grew up with this movie.

THE LOSERS. JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN a.ka Neegan aka the comedian ,CHRIS EVANS and bunch great actors in this pretty much A-TEAM style movie. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ,LOVED This one a pure 10 imo. My new favorite Captain America movie before he was CAP. Evans is lol crazy funny in this one.

House of the Dead - 1/10

Along with Ecks vs Sever, its one of those Uwe Boll films i watch to get a good laugh, i forgot how bad it was and the part were the lead actress jumps and shoots a shotgun while an ax heads her way made me die laughing on how obnoxious uwe is, plus i cant believe Sega sponsored a rave where only 30 people showed up

Race. Stephen James & Jason Sudeikis in this story of Olympic Medal winner Jesse Owens.

A ton of heart and courage in 1936's Germany Olympic Game's. Just watching Jesse Owens compete against Germany & Nazi's in this Olympics, i felt scared just watching this remake of history. I could not imagine how actually scary it would have been to be there. This was right before world war 2 with Adolph and Nazi party looking on. I give a 10 for heart n courage to Jesse Owens. :clap:clap:clap
