The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) - 10/10
No gore, very little blood, only one chain saw kill.
Yet oozes with atmosphere and madness.
Awesome film.
The Thing (1982) - 10/10
By far the cream of the crop for me in terms of Sci-fi horror.
Haha! Exactly!Kong : Skull Island
Objectively: 6/19
The Kaiju lover score 7.9/10

Rewatch Halloween ('78) again.
Carpenter has the kids towards the end of the movie watching "The Thing From Another World".
Four years later... he releases this masterpiece.
Account ban and public lashings for not giving it an 11/10!
Probably my fave horror film of all time, perfect film to watch during winter. I even put it above Alien 79 as sci-fi horror goes (plus, the alien in this is more realistic and terrifying as it could be anyone, really playing on your paranoia and fear). Hard to believe it got negative reviews when it came out.
It brilliantly uses suspense and subtle hints throughout and there's stuff in here that I never noticed until later. Like the pair of tattered underwear found by Nauls early on -- doesn't seem like much at first but it's a big hint as to how the creature assimilates.
Also love the ambiguity of the ending. Do you think Childs was infected in the end?
Stranger Things 2: 9.5/10
Really enjoyed it. I'd say just as good as the first season.
Even episode 7?
