Evil Dead II ain't holding up why? Effects?

The Thing rating is what it should be. By a huge margin was it Carpenter's best work. I tend to like watching it during the Winter time for obvious reasons.

The campy nature of EVII is still fantastic, and Bruce is awesome as the clown in distress....

But the effects are terrible to behold now. It’s been about 7 years since I last watched it.....but honestly it looks like a high school production now....

Amazing how seeing years of effect advancement can do to the eyes..... I remember thinking they were pretty good at the time

Example : the daughter get sprayed with the guys blood from the basement monster ....she backs away from the basement and is totally dry....just laughable.

Raw. Not really good at ratings so 8/10. The minus 2 was because of how uncomfortable it was but I commend that because of its intention. Really enjoyed the film.

Spider-Man: Homecoming - 7.5/10

I enjoyed it more this time around (this is my second viewing). Michael Keaton was on point and I can't wait to see Gargan's character fleshed out in the sequel. I still prefer the Raimi films (yes, even the third one) over this, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable flick nonetheless.

It always bugged me whenever you go to the first person view of the evil chasing Ash through the cabin and you can see the top of the sound stage and see the gym they built the cabin in.

:lecture Someone else who is able to disassociate it from Michael Myers. I enjoy it very much too. :duff

I am still bitter from seeing it and not knowing Michael would not be in it.....

Waaaaaaay back in the theaters

Mhmmmm and you're one of the positive ones...

I dunno. :lol I tried to have no expectations and have fun, but it just wasn't for me. I really liked how they did the action scenes and Hela stuff, but other than that the movie never really clicked with me.

It's still a fun movie and can see how some people enjoy it.

It is something you eat either when nothing good is around or when you have an urge to consume.
Snacks are not good for your health, good or bad. :lol
Everything is good for you in moderation, for instance, if you know how to eat, even pork rinds can work wonders for your body.

Still, snacks are supposed to taste good and be enjoyable.

But your review and Captain Clown's suggest it's a week old donut that its frosting went bad.

Halloween III was actually my first Halloween movie so I wasn't partial to the Michael Myers character going into it. I watched it with my father when I was very young and I've loved it ever since. The scene where the trademark "misfires" and melts the woman's face off traumatized me at that age, though. :lol

Would You Rather - 7/10

I probably enjoyed this movie more than I should have.
