Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Actually, I was just guessing - sounded pretty convincing didn't I? :D

It was also a bit annoying because they'd use the goofy made up words, and you were never quite sure if you'd heard right or not.

Like I said, his voice seemed a bit off at times and some of the stuff he said made no sense. the hatter does make up words in the story and Disney adaption but mixed with an accent only adds to the confusion.

Impossible thing # 7: I liked this movie...

Fat Boys FTW lol

I thought the same thing... like his accent wasn't consistent. I guess that could have been intentional, but it was more distracting than anything.

Alice In Wonderland is a movie that I like less and less the more I think about it :lol Still not the abortion that POTA was, but still very disappointing.

I think Tim Burton needs to stay away from remakes or properties for awhile. Last film of his I enjoyed was Big Fish. I just think he needs to make a personal film again and not make a film made for licensing at Hot Topic. I really hated both Willy Wonka and Alice. For some reason, TB just seems to have lost it and I hope he gets it back. Because I miss films like Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands and Big Fish (and even Pee Wee's Big Adventure)

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I completely agree with you; POTA, Charley and the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland were all fails in my book.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Speed was on cable and watched it yesterday

It's still a 9/10 for me after all these years

Battlestar Galactica: the mini series 8/10

Ooooh have you watched BG before? Because it gets a whole lot better than the mini series which was great also but the series just got sooo much better. First episode on season 1 (33) is still my all time favorite episode of the whole series. Just awesome :rock

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I loved the mini, 1st and most of the 2nd season... after that I was in and out.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I loved it all, but 1st and 2nd season the showrunners really showed how far you could push science fiction when your paying attention to the characters and not just the special effects. 3 and 4 got kind of bogged down a little but still great TV and worth watching the entire series IMO

POTA, Alice and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory aren't remakes. Sorry, but it's a pet peeve of mine. All three of these are movies based off novels, which is significantly different than something like King Kong or NMOES.

I do completely agree though with the spirit of your statement - Burton needs to get back to his own original material, rather than another movie based on someone else's concept.

Oh yeah dude, I love BSG. I just never saw the mini series and I got the dvd at a Farmers Market for $3 so I got it. :D

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Just watched Undisputed 3. I'll give it a 6.5/ 10 The acting is on par for direct to video and the story is recycled stuff, but the fights are just badass.

~~Keep an eye out for Scott Adkins (Deadpool at the end of Xmen origins) because he's been doing some great kung-fu action movies.

Taken - 8/10

Liam Neeson was awesome. I've come to love him a lot - my first exposure to him was Phantom Menace and I didn't care for Qui-Gon, but seeing him in other movies has opened my eyes to his talent.
