The Matrix - 10/10

Watched it earlier, still a great movie. Maybe the biggest wtf sequels of all time, even worse then the SW prequels when you take into account they had the same cast. Seriously what happened?

The problem is that they told the whole story in the first movie, there was no need for sequels. Neo becomes the One by the end of that first movie and by doing so has already beaten the machines. That's why the sequels are so clunky. They had to cook up a bunch of extra nonsense for Neo to go through because they made him the One far too early. It would be like Luke Skywalker becoming a jedi at the end of A New Hope. It's kinda hard to tell the story through two more movies when the main character's journey is already taken.

A-Team

8.5/10

Fun. (whistles A-Team theme)

I still think to this day that if Reloaded and Revolutions were condensed into one movie, that movie would've been awesome. Shame.

The A-Team - 7.5/10 - Thought it was a fun decent big screen adaption. The origin of the team was well done and they had a few tibits from the show. Over-the-top action was nice. Flying the tank was the best part.

Kung Fu Kid - 7 out of 10. Was forced into seeing it with some friends because we were late for Splice, and you know what, it wasn't half bad. Will Smith's kid has some acting chops.

Edge of Darkness - 6/10 I love revenge flicks, and there's nothing like a Father/Daughter relationship to spur on the best revenge. Unfortunately, the potential here is weighed down by a dragging, slow script with only moments of intensity.

The A-Team. 9/10. Great summer action movie. Perfect cast, good chemistry, solid story, good action. It was everything I hoped it would be. Bring on the sequel.

24 Season 1. 10/10. Started watching about a month ago ... just finished yesterday evening. Still great the second time through -- compelling, action packed. Season 2 starts next weekend.

Yeah, I just pretend the sequels don't exist. The Matrix is perfect as a stand alone movie.

Will Smith's kid totally reminds me of Reily from The Boondocks.

Lost: Seasons 1-3: 9/10
Finally started watching this and I'm totally hooked. I'm often annoyed by not knowing what the hell is going on (hence not 10/10) but the series is really awesome.

And hopefully by the time I finish season 5, 6 will be available for rental
