I love this film. A great western, a nice and slow story, but never a dull moment! :bow

:goodpost: One of my favorite films. Just gorgeous to look at and the acting by Casey Affleck and Brad Pitt is perfect. Pitt came off as a guy you would follow but had "complete nuts-o as hell" in his eyes. And Affleck as just creepy good. The cinematographer should have gotten awards for this film. Some of the best lighting Ive ever seen

Both Pitt and Affleck did an excellent job. I totally see what you mean. Pitt seemed a very cool and friendly gang leader, but at the same time, when he looked at characters his eyes seemed to peer right through them. Very intimidating at times.
And Affleck was creepy indeed. You never seemed to know his full motives and what was really going on inside him...
...and yet in the last 10 minutes of the film he actually managed to give his character some sadness, that made me feel sorry for the way his life came to an end.

Yeah, I was so creeped out by Affleck for most of the movie until the last 10 minutes. Then I pitied him. He just wanted the fame that went along with it, and ended up being labelled a coward. I cant say enough about this movie. I love any time Brad Pitt plays someone who is nuts. Especially in 12 Monkeys and Kalifornia. What he does here though is much more subdued but almost more effective because he comes off as more menacing. I would follow him based on his charisma but wouldnt turn my back on him for anything.

SHUTTER ISLAND 9/10. Wow!!! Though I knew what twist was coming it was still an excellent movie and great job by Leo. Will be buying for sure now.

Is your boss weird? Jesse James and his wife were first cousins. Which means your boss may very well literally be inbred. There are a LOT of people that lie about being descendants of James ... they should've read up first.

Ewww....Nah...he's not that weird. But he's an artist, and we artist tend to be weird in general.

Just got done watching The Road...what a great miserable movie...
done really well. Its the end of the world and well you know what happens next, viggo does a great job and the movie's atmosphere is great as well, but again super depressing. Really good if your into movies about the Apocalypse.
