Never heard of this movie until I saw it in a boardies signature.. pretty cool. A little plodding at times, but overall a solid entry into the "British thugs killing one another over loot genre"

Triumph of the Spirit: 7/10
Very good and different view of the holocaust... wasn't aware of this particular film before I happened across it on TV. Good acting, a bit heavy-handed at times, but overall well done. Also, kind of cool seeing Willem DaFoe and Edward James Olmos when they were younger.

But, Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist? Come on. There are a lot of pretty actresses that can also pull off a "genius" role ... but Richards isn't one of them.

This is about as believable as Tara Reid as a doctor in Alone in the Dark.


~~I just watched The Watchmen...6.5/10. I still can't see why people worship this movie. It's not garbage, but I'm not going to defend it as the end all superhero movie.

Love this movie!

It gets better and better with each viewing. Guy is planning it as a trilogy.

I think when I first rated this I gave it like a 6/10 or so but I've seen it severall times since and despite it's predictability and occaisional lag, this movie has grown on me a little. Just a fun slasher overall.

As good as Lewis's performance was, the film just didn't grab on to me as tightly as I was expecting. It just moved too slowly for me. It also doesn't help that I wasn't particularly interested in anything but the performances. The material does nothing for me.

It's odd, because I love almost everything else P.T. Anderson has done.

I don't disagree, but considering the source material was a children's novel, I can understand. I still think it was well done and actually better than I expected.

It made my kid want to read the series, so I am all for it.

Love this movie!

The Soloist, pretty descent for a slower movie and did a good job of keeping me interested. 7/10

Extract, very funny movie imo. actually burst out laughing during several spots. jason bateman was great. 8/10

Supernatural S1: 9/10 I finished this a while back, but I decided to rate it together with S2, which are the only seasons I have on DVD.

Supernatural S2: 9.5/10 Definitely the best of these two!!
