The Last Airbender -1/10
Ok so i am a huge fan of the cartoon series and i almost walked out of this movie, the only reason i stayed is because i was seeing it with friends I dont know how they screwed this up so bad it was soooooo boring had no character development and it seemed like they totally ignored great source material they had to work with.
Plus they couldnt even pronounce "Aang" wtf is "Ung"
AAaaahhhhh soooo disappointed.
If you are a fan of the show dont see this film.

G doesn't like Boston, so we can say that it is in a far better city.

Yeah, hate the place.:lol After spending so much time there I can see parts of the accent creeping into my own speech.:horror Though they do lay it on bit on the thick side in this movie.

I've recently got into the show. I really like it so far and I never realized Mark Hamill was the voice for Firelord Ozai.

I saw previews for the movie months back when it was first released and thought it looked terrible. Everyone looked mis-cast and most of the reviews I've read have all been really negative.

Like i said, If you are a fan of the show dont go see this movie. I went in with an open mind expecting as always that they were goin to change stuff for a movie adaptation but it was horrible more horribble than i thought possible. Awful directing, bad acting and very poor story telling, i have watched the entire series several times and is one of my all time favorite cartoons but even i was left wondering at times "what the hell is going on??". Its a shame because anyone who hasnt seen the tv series doesnt know how good it could have been.

Watched Wall-E again last night: 5/5

Amazing film! Astoundingly good! I also started watching the commentary on Blu Ray which is pretty great so far.

Spielberg on Spielberg ... 8/10.

I found this several-year-old TCM documentary on DVD. It is basically just an hour-and-a-half of Steven Spielberg talking about his movies (with clips therefrom). It was actually really interesting in a DVD-extra kinda way.

Body of Lies 9/10. Solid spy/counterterrorist thriller with DiCaprio and Crowe.

The Horseman - 8 out of 10

This movie came out of nowhere. If you have Netflix you can view it instantly. It's one of the better revenge films I've seen in years. It's got an indie feel to it as well which I loved.
