The Missing: 8/10 This was an awesome western with some slight supernatural elements
I had never even heard of it before today, when I saw it on TV, but I found it a great film! Tommy Lee Jones was awesome as a badass old indian!!!

I've seen Firefly only once, and that was back when it was first aired on TV here. I don't remember much about it other then some scenes here and there. I want to get it on Blu actually, but it still is very pricey here...

I've seen Firefly only once, and that was back when it was first aired on TV here. I don't remember much about it other then some scenes here and there. I want to get it on Blu actually, but it still is very pricey here...

Please give it another chance. I have the DVD and Blu Ray set and I still love to pop in any random episode from Firefly, and it still entertains me every time.

Oh it's not that I don't want to give it a second chance, it's just that it's a show that's kinda hard to get here, and on Blu it's really a bit too expensive than I'm willing to pay for only 14 episodes, even though it is a great show. I've been waiting for this to drop in price for a long time now, but I'm not sure if it ever will drop in price. So I might have to get it expensive afterall... maybe for Christmas or something

I just bought this on blu-ray a couple days ago. Looks much cleaner than the last time I saw it on vhs.

Much better than most horror films.

Hehe, me too. I bought it a few days ago from Best Buy for $10. Very nice picture but grainy at times. I've always loved the movie, plus it sends an important message about some of the things that hapenned during the Vietnam war. I'd label it more under the Psychological thriller
genre though.

Certainly more a thriller than horror, but it does have a lot of elements from the latter. This film gets a spot on my shelf mainly because its premise is very similar to an old Twilight Zone episode from the 60's. That and this film inspired the Silent Hill video games, which are debatably the scariest games ever made.

And Tim Robbins is a great actor.

I do agree though that the visual quality on this blu release is a bit soft. The audio too.
