Poltergeist III- 5/10
It gets a 5 out of 10 for some great scenes and awesome special effects. Plot was crap, especially bringing Kane back for no good reason (he was damned to hell, he couldnt come back)
I didn't see all of Poltergeist II, but I saw most of it, and they should have ended it there.
Collateral Damage- 9/10
Really good Arnold flick. Shows his versatility as an actor.

Splice - 5/10. Not bad up to the last 15 minutes or so, then it sputters out to a silly ending.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 5/10. Love it mostly for nostalgia sake. I forgot it was over 2 1/2 hours long!
Megamind - 7/10. Cute story, great 3D.
Almost finished with Triangle, but not going to comment til I see how they wrap it up!

Monsturd...that's right. It's just as shi$$y as the title suggests. It was on Instant Streaming and I was curious for about 20 minutes. It looked like it was filmed on someone's camcorder phone. And the actors were just bad. As in they weren't even trying. I could forgive them if they were just bad actors trying to make it work, but the people in this movie were just there, and in one scene I swear you saw one woman reading lines off a card out of the shot.

Terrible. This is the second chick-flick with an action slant that I watch, and I think it'll be my last. I also watched the Bounty Hunter a couple of months ago and it was even worse. I know, what the hell was I expecting?
Apparently women don't care about logic in a story, as long as the two leads get together in the end. Whereas the men, who end up having to invest in the action part of the story, end up ultimately disappointed since it all ends up not making any sense.
In the Bounty Hunter, I remember the end was setting itself up to have a twist with the best friend guy seemingly going to double-cross them. It was clear as day that they were heading in that direction in the third act. But then they just dropped it and ended with everyone oh so happy to be together again. It totally felt like it was test-screened, and all the women commented that the end twist was unnecessary/confusing, so the studio removed it without removing the set up for the twist.

the father in law is behind all the killers going after Ashton. He even kills Ashton's handler in cold blood purely from his incorrect assumption, and even kills a couple of the agents he himself activated. And in the end everything is okay and happy.

I have Quantum of Solace on cable right now. I've seen it several times. I know a lot of people don't like it but I do. "Not enough gadgets", "lame villain", and on and on...
I think it catches a bad rap. Craig is great as Bond and I liked seeing Mathis again. I'm sorry they killed him off. I also like the new Felix.
Now that MGM's in restructuring I hope they can greenlight a new Bond.
