Skyline 6/10

Not bad but not great and i'm glad i didn't pay to watch this at the cinema like i was going to. :lol

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Centurion: 5/10 Decent action with some decent acting. Not much of a story though. Few actors from 300.

Project X: 7/10 I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and it still gets me when he figures out what they are doing with the chimps. "Who died and made you lord of the apes?" Also Stephen Lang was in this movie which I totally didn't know.

Sherlock Holmes 8/10 Can't wait for another one.

The Expandables - I think it will grow on me, but i wanted to be longer, to see more jet li fights and people gotten beat up. But it delivered anyway, statham is freaking bad ass. Schwarzenegger was looking so odd and to think Stallone is ONE YEAR OLDER than him. Cool movie, in any case, good light hearted fun. 8.5/10.

ps: bruce willis is ____ing cool, would've like to play more of a part.

Kick-Ass 9/10

I blind bought this on Blu-Ray when Amazon was selling it for $12.99 earlier last month. Finally watched it last night and loved it.

I'm no fan of Nicolas Cage but he did a great job with his character in this film. And, of course, Hit Girl pretty much owned this movie!

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Inception 8/10. DiCaprio really worked it in this flick. An interesting concept as well, and another reason to look forward to anything Nolan does.

I'm glad I picked up the exclusive with the totem - it's damn cool! And it hasn't kept spinning and spinning...yet.

The Book of Eli

I knew that I would like this film going into it, but I did not expect to love it as much as I did. I was incredibly moved by it. I can see how a person who is mostly secular might see it as 'just another post-apocoliptic movie', but as a believer it really struck me as a gem.

It seems really unusual for faith to be put in such a good light with no sense of irony in this day and age. And the contrast between religion (those who would use the Word of God as a "weapon") and faith was very well played.

And you gotta love Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman! :rock

There where some things that brought the over-all score down for me, but I enjoyed it more than some I've rated higher.

8.5/10
