El Secreto De Sus Ojos (The Secret In Their Eyes): 8.5/10
Friends of mine lent it to me and told me I had to see this. A great movie indeed!

Buried: 9/10

Unbelievably entertaining for a film taking place in a coffin sized box. Great filmmaking. I've never seen anything like it executed so well!

I know A LOT of people that didn't like it. But I kinna rate the movies cause of the emotions they create. That's the deal. With almost nothing, they kept yourself nervous all the time, as if you were there. Horrible. I have anxiety problems and my heart was like jumping the two hours lol. I really like when they do something with little resources.

A film is - or should be - more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.

Most audiences have ADD so it doesn't surprise me when you find great films rated poorly. Buried may not have been "great" but it was well executed and somewhat original at least.

The Road: 7.5/10
Definitely not a happy movie. Pretty impressive, though it did seem a tad slow every now and then. Still a pretty good watch, though!

Let Me In: 9/10
Really awesome! Chloe Moretz did a really good job IMO, as did the other kid. Definitely a lot better than I expected!

The Crazies: 7/10
Pretty cool film. Nothing really special but a fun watch.

really getting hard to find that in films anymore, most that I see anymore, I've got figured out about 20 minutes into the film.

Speaking of which, just saw Real Steal and was shocked. Went into it expecting another Transformers type yawn fest and couldn't believe how well done it was. 8/10 for me, it not better.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Yeah, I see your point.

Overall, I think they could have done more with the animation; all-star superman had better animation.

And not to be nit-picky but in the comics, he actually does a stab with his fingers through those bricks. That bothered me when it was done like this. <<< OCD part of me, sorry.

yeah bruce wayne suddenly has super human powers when in training mode, one kick and bam, the tree split in half, but then he can't beat catwoman, what is that about? sure his leg is bleeding but one bam, catwoman should be split in half or KO'ed.. :)

i give it 6/10 because of the tree and bricks..

The Tournament: 6.5/10
Pretty cool action movie. Not much in terms of story or anything, but it makes for a fun watch.

Yeah but why does a movie have to be a scavenger hunt or an Inception mind bender to be good? I dunno, i'm one of those guys that enjoys a movie for its artistic uniqueness or the way the story is told. I appreciate that more than anything else a film has to offer.

Thats a shocker, I assumed this would be super lame. I might have to see this now.

Green Lantern 5/10

I watched it, yea..err..it was ok.

Just watched it last night... really not impressed :lol

Green Lantern: 5/10
Seemed like it was going to be pretty decent, but the story moved along (a bit slowly at times) and then the big climax just seemed to happen and then be done. Nothing really to hate about it (even Reynolds was not as annoying as I feared) but also nothing all that spectacular :huh

Although I did like:
The chick easily recognizing GL was really Hal Jordan, one of the funnier scenes in a superhero movie.

POTC- On Stranger Tides: 6/10
Just kind of an okay entry into the series, at this point the only one I really need to ever see again is the original.

You may or may not like it, but it really was about something totally differant than I thought it would be. Like The Incredibles, when it came out I had not interest in it and barely gave the previews any notice, but when I was forced to take the kids to it I was blown away. It's great when a person gets a surprise like that.

My wife, 9yr old son and I watched it last night and we all loved it.

The Human Centipede II: Full Sequence 7.5/10

Gross, explicit, mean and insane, this movie is pretty much everything you heard the first THC was. I wish the story hung together a bit better, but it's Tom Six is definitely up to something interesting. He's mixing a healthy dose of meta in with the blood and poop. He's also given us yet another memorable horror movie villain. Definitely a solid pick if you're looking for something to push the limits of good taste for Halloween.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Finally got to see Hanna - 8/10. I really enjoyed it, although others in my group were less enthusiastic. I thought the mix of slow pacing and action sequences worked well, and I'm very, very disappointed that Saoirse Ronan isn't going to be Katniss.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Drive.(i gave it a 2nd chance) Meh. You kids are easily impressed.

6.5

(if the rest of the movie was like the first 10 mins, it woulda been epic)
