I am going to mention oldies here...hopefully some of the younger crowd will take the time to see some of these...The Quiet Man...my favorite film of all time...10/10...Other John Wayne must see...The Searchers..The Shootist...Red River...True Grit...

Gunga Din 1939...one of the first in my opinion action buddy movies and one of the best buddy films of all time...

If youre a Connery fan but want to see another film that is not James Bond...The Hill...Robin and Marion...The Wind and The Lion...A Bridge too Far...The Man who would be King...

The best mercenary film IMHO...The Wild Geese starring Roger Moore, Richard Burton ,Richard Harris and just a great british cast

The Graduate, Little Big Man, Straw Dogs, Marathon Man...etc etc...Dustin Hoffman sure knew what roles to pick early in his career..in fact for his first 15 years...

I know we loved Rutger Hauer in Blade Runner...Split Second to me was his next best( reminded me of BR too...Hitcher next

another film that failed and bombed miserably at the box office but is one of the best antiwar films of all time....The Deer Hunter ,Full Metal Jacket and We were soldiers were great too...My favorite POW film...Uncommon Valor

One of my favorites is director Sam Peckinpah...What ever he did I enjoyed...His best IMHO was The Wild Bunch and Cross of Iron( a forgotten film)...Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia too ................To be continued

I watched a movie called Lake Mungo, about a girl who drowns and then a series of strange events happens to her family after her death. It's a documentary style film with interviews and footage of the actual people involved. It was alright, watchable at best, but sitting around bored the next night I started dwelling on it a bit and it kinda creeped.

I give it a 6.5/10- A one time watcher with zero reason to ever view again.

Split Second was awesome! Also, The Blood of Heroes and Ladyhawke.

I haven't seen Blind Fury. I know, I need to get on it.

Seriously. It's like the anti-ADD movie. The polar opposite of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. After a 2 hour build up of going down the river to hell, in the final act Kurtz reads poetry to Willard. No explosions, no crazy gunfight... but poetry.
