Devil's Playground - 8/10. Decent 28 Days/Weeks Later style zombie movie set in England. Nothing new but a fun watch overall.

Altered - 8/10. Creepy sci-fi horror about some guys who capture an alien that abducted them years earlier.

It was on TV so thought to myself might as well. A lot better then what I first thought.One of the greatest performances from Mickey Rourke.

Devil's Playground - 8/10. Decent 28 Days/Weeks Later style zombie movie set in England. Nothing new but a fun watch overall.

Altered - 8/10. Creepy sci-fi horror about some guys who capture an alien that abducted them years earlier.

Im going to have to look for Devil's Playground and as for Altered, that movie is so underrated. I loved it, its got a low budget feel, but its pretty damn good.

Life is Beautiful: 8/10

Beautifully told story,i absolutely loved the Father/Son relationship in this one.
The leading actor won an oscar for his performance,no doubt did he deserve it but his character was an exaggerating clown that would annoy the hell out of me in real life

Loved this movie.

If you like the show you'll like the movie.

Sounds good, I doubted if they could pull off something a film's length but they haven't really dissapointed me yet.

Darkest Hour 6/10

This movie seemed to have creeped out of nowhere when it was first released, but seeing as how I don't watch TV I would have probably missed all the spots for it during it's run.

Either way it was a pretty interesting concept for an "invasion" flick. I felt like in some parts they took themselves or the script too seriously, and some of the dialogue was atrocious, but what do you come to expect from simple sci-fi horror fare right? It was entertaining and like I said the concept of these aliens mining the planet for minerals isn't a new one but how they went about it and what they were made of was the interesting part. How they managed to attack them with the known science and how everyone quickly adapted to withstand their attacks was good too. Once you actually see the aliens though it felt like there were pokemon inside of them and I was like meh. I liked the idea of them just being balls or willow o wisps of electrical energy.

Devil's Playground is on Netflix streaming if you have it.

Altered was a pleasant surprise. Almost had a sort of The Thing mixed with Cabin Fever vibe to it.

Cool yeah I'll have to watch Devil's Playground on the instant watch then, thanks for the heads up. I actually watched Altered on the instant watch a while back and then went out and found it used for about $4 on dvd. Well worth it

I kinda liked Altered.

But I hated it because I came up with that idea, not knowing the movie existed. So now...my potentially awesome movie will never be done.
