Amazing Spider-Man ..... 8/10
Amazing Spider-Man 2 ..... 7/10

Desolation Of Smaug ..... negative infinity/10

All the Top Gear Specials ..... A bazillion/10

The Amazing Spiderman 2: It was ok for me 7.0/10

The fact I loved this interpretation of Spidey is keeping this going down to a 6.

Pompeii - 5/10

Marks for
actually killing everyone, seems only a horse survives

other than that, very much seen it all before stuff.

Hobbit 2: Revenge of the Hobbit: 5.5/10

I can't believe how mediocre this movie felt, as I really enjoyed all the LOTR movies and even Hobbit 1. But it felt like everyone was totally just going through the motions. Peter Jackson relied on the old trick of old making the music stop for dramatic effect, then building up sweeping orchestral music after dramatic quote is made or action is taken about 500 times. The barrel ride was probably the worst part of the whole movie, as it felt like a total videogame, and there was zero tension. No tension in really the whole movie. Only part I enjoyed a little was Bilbo interacting with Smaug, but there was no real tension there, either. Disappointing.

Man of Steel - 4/10

My first viewing. I think all the negative thoughts on it are spot on. Snyder's creative direction was pretty awful, the CGI looked very cheap and washed out. The fight scenes were just as chaotic as any Transformers film and were so over the top, that I honestly couldn't really care what was going on. Cavill seemed very wooden to me as Superman, and no real emotional connection to him whatsoever. And the whole Independence Day vibe to me cheapened the film a lot. Overall, it came across as a Syfy original film with a gigantic budget.

Batman returns 4/10 doesn't hold up the silly story only good thing about this film is the designs of the characters that's it.
