I did save, that's what I'm saying, no way can I beat those games with one credit in my first play through after 10 years.

Blessed emulator's save-on-the-spot feature.
Oh my bad

Well, at least you were humble about it. Good work soldier:1-1:

I'll make it my goal to beat them without dying, but for now I'm just enjoying the games.

I do save only at the start of missions, just so I don't have to start over from the beginning if I have to stop playing or something.

Resident Evil REmake Remastered - 9.5/10

Best gaming remake, by an enormous margin. It's just feels a little slow, like the original did.

Mighty No. 9 - 5.5/10.

If I backed this from the start or bought full price, I would have rated it so much lower. It's a Mega Man styled game and I adore thpse, but this had so many problems. Recovery items gone when you die, so many instant kills, uninteresting story and run of the mill characters (except Dr. Sanda, he's hilarious), remarkably bad visuals and engine, that bland music...when we go back to the budget, delays and years spent on it it goes so much worse. I had an ok time, but I don't see myself revisiting this. Had high hopes, but whatever. I feel so much worse for my long time Mega Man friends however.

For a year with truly great games, this is bottom of the barrel easily.

The Remake Remaster visually looks nice. but im shocked you give it practically a perfect score after they messed with some of the audio tracks

I actually should amend it. I played it again recently and really turned on it. I knew about the messed up tracks, like the one guardhouse one. Plus, some backgrounds weren't even cleaned up like the Aqua Ring. I'd say it's a 8.5. It's the perfect remake, but dull.

I really need to be in the mood to play it nowadays. I'd much rather RE2/RE3.

I do think its a fantastic game, but i actually prefer the gamecube version. Not just for the music, but that i feel they lost their integrity by opting to give modern era Resident evil skins, giving an easy control system and by changing the aspect ratio. Its all optional of course, but i feel theres a clear divide between people who want to play the games for how it was supposed to be, and by the new comers who want to play the game the easier way. It annoys me that they arent having the same experience as the old school guys. All the new comers t othe game on youtube who play it set the game controls to modern, and use the widescreen aspect ratio. Theres no thinking about it. Some of them even go for the re 5 skins.

I tend to agree. I like the almost noise effect on everything, plus none of the soundtrack is messed up. Everything is too clean looking in Remastered.

admittedly the RE5 skins kind of bugged me, I was hoping instead for it to be the characters in the outfits...not the models

Forgot to put this up long ago.

Ratchet and Clank PS4 - 8.5/10. An outstanding remake/reboot/reimagining/rewhatever the **** it is of the original Ratchet and Clank, and technically the best movie licensed game I've played. I miss a few levels and moments from the original but the overall gameplay is outstanding. And those visuals...oh my god :drool some of the OST is so-so though, it's fine but the original tracks like Oltanis, and Orxon beat them out of the water.

Parasite Eve II - 7.5/10
Disaster Report - 7/10
Steambot Chronicles - 8.5/10
Fatal Frame IV - 8.5/10

More in depth reviews later when I'm not on my phone.

Metal Slug X - 7/10 The lack of slowdown actually makes this harder than the original :lol

Medal of Honor - 7/10 Boy the controls did not age well here, it's mostly problems with clipping and the mapping than the schemes.

But great atmosphere and the soundtrack, holy ****, on a PS1 game, damn. I look forward to Underground.

The darkness 9/10, the darkness 2 8/10, two amazing games with some awesome mechanics. Especially enjoy the sequence in ww1

I'm trying to find nice deals / copies of those as we speak.
You play on hardware?

Yep. I can't believe the first one hasn't be ported to PC, it's a fantastic game, with another great soundtrack.

Still waiting on TD3 :monkey2
