DOOM! Crazy fun, repetitive but still enjoyed it

With Rune Trial Upgrades, it makes the game more fun as well

Glory and Chainsaw kills are a nice addition to the game

Mirror's Edge Catalyst 8/10

Excellent parkour, great graphics. If you're an architect, you'll be in paradise marveling at the city.

They took a month to fix a flaw that crippled the cutscenes, effectively making the story unwatchable. But it's fixed now.

I can't imagine playing this on VR. The ridiculous heights you get to would be vomit-inducing.

The combat is not near as bad as reviewers told you. A breadth of fresh air agaisnt the mindless shooters.

Faith is sorta cute, minus the tattoo.

God of War III Remastered - 9/10. Weird changes/nerfs to combat, like auto lock for O moves, bring down the gameplay and some story elements are strange but overall still a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy that stands up really well. Wish the remaster was better looking since the other GoW remasters are superb, but it's still great. Also I love how I got the platinum trophy in a single playthrough and they actually removed one due to backlash from Ascension.

I could've bought God Of War III on PS3 for $5 a little while ago, when my local Target was clearing a bunch of gaming stuff.

I'm sure it's a fine game, but it doesn't look like my kind of thing. I think I've gone cold now on DMC too.

Mate, I'm good. I probably don't know anywhere near as much as some of you guys when it comes to the new gen library, but I'm getting there. Certain subject matter & gameplay just doesn't appeal to me. I have my faves - & my guilty pleasures, but I am open to at least taking a look at stuff, & the God Of War Games don't do it for me.

That was what I played GoW III on recently actually, in my post on here! But Vinnage doesn't have a PS4, seems to prefer the last generation... hmm.

But yeah most gamers like GoW, it's accessible yet challenging and has a reasonable amount to offer.

Sadly I have to agree. I've played GOW1, 2, 3 and the two PSP games but never beaten any of them. They're fine games, and I remember following the series back in 2003 when Kratos was just called "The Spartan" but I don't have the motivation to finish any of them. Oh well.

Why do I suddenly feel two years old again, sitting in my high chair & a big spoonful of khaki coloured muck is heading my way.

I've got plenty of excellent games right now dude - & that's across seven systems. Dark Souls, DMC, GoW etc - not my thing. At least the DMC demo was fun, but I can't really see myself playing through that entire game without being over it fairly quickly.

But Vinnage doesn't have a PS4, seems to prefer the last generation... hmm.

Vinti, I'd seriously be impressed if you play across seven systems. I read an article last year, which said that around 90% of console gamers play on their current systems and never touch their old hardware again. Personally, I game mainly on PC, and my PS4 gets occasional use for exclusives. I haven't booted my PS3 since last year, and I was still a virgin since my PS2 has seen any use, whatsoever.
