I'm in the same boat as you then. I've only seen Dr. Doom in the FF movies (I use to think the actor was super handsome haha)

Doom is so iconic in Marvel. Also, every Doom statue has become very sought after and rare. If you dont grab (especially) the Ex version, your going to really kick yourself later when you find yourself paying double for it. Considering the price of other Doom pieces, this one really is a pretty good buy.

If you need to catch up on some Doom stories the first several volumes of the essential Fantastic Four are really good. It's surprising just how many iconic character's origins are in there.
The space travel references are very funny too because we had yet to put a man on the moon when they came out.

i continue amaze with the EX.....well for US buyer i will get the EX . but for overseas buyer like me, an ex with only a gun is not enough incentive for me to buy the ex with all the import tax and shipping.

Oh yes, whilst you go from Sideshow thread to Sideshow thread finding anything you possibly can to complain about like prattling child looking for attention. And by the way, they never could state who had that option and went back and forth between it being TV series or Movie that was in production. So you tell me, which one are they actually lying about.

It wouldn't of cost them to add more detail to the armor, especially since they have fabric covering most of the statue....

I always PO on day one out of fear (and maybe excitement), but really want to think about this before I pull the trigger. Don't want to make an impulsive purchase. Judging from DC PFs, exclusives are usually up for months before they sell out. Think Dr. Doom here will be the same deal? Because I guess I rather lose out on a $40 deposit, than miss out on an ex.

Just wait a couple of months and use the 20.00 off coupons. I did it with catwoman and ivy. It's a nice bonus. As for doom pass for me. This one does not impress me enough to buy it. It's good but not great in my opinion.
