Yep, it's been that way for quite some time. They have gift card eligible items. Now codes are different. Discount codes can be used usually just not the first few weeks of pre-order and of course Rewards Points can pretty much be used anytime except on waitlist items.

I really want to buy this, but a few things are holding me back. The biggest is the base. Its just so bland. I think the castle wall base like the Legendary figure would have been much better. Its nearly identical in the pose of the Legendary even. They might as well have made it a miniature version. Instead we get some random mechanical base
The perfect Doom would be this figure sitting in the original throne. I never cared for the style of the first Doom's feet (too exaggerated). This one is classic Doom all the way. Just wish the base were different. Hopefully he'll be at SDCC so I can get a better look at him. Its just too bad the Legendries are so big (and expensive). I would have jumped on that one if it were PF size in a heart beat.

The problem for me is the LSF seems so much better. Its hard to get your hopes up like that then have to come down.

While I can agree with that. I think the difference for me, at least is that the PF is a pretty damn good representation of comic book Doom while the LSF is it's own thing. Maybe even what Doom could look like in a movie. Assuming he's done right.

Do they have a EX for this doom? Is it a cool COH or a simple swap out thing like a knife or a part from the base? I think the ES on this one will be decent like Thor because I don't see them selling that many of these. Maybe it's just the character not being so popular. I think he's been around for a long time but for a 400.00 statue many people may not pay up.

Want to like it, but it just looks a bit too crude compared to the LSF. At a fraction of the price, sure, but even for a PF scale figure it's not wowing me. Nothing like the detail of the original PF with all that ornate figurework on the throne. Was really looking to this one but I think it's gonna have to be a pass for me.

The original PF is very nice, but I just don't particularly like statues of characters sitting in general. No real reason why, just my taste, so I really like this PF, since I'll never pony up for the legendary scale.
