Just saw a guy on youtube called gtgamer BR post a couple of gameplay videos ( no spoiler stuff so far ) and the game looks beautiful.

The Kotaku review is by far, the best game review I have ever read. Do yourself a favor and read it.

Not that I care much about them, As I don't let that influence my decisions. I know R* does not make ****, EVERY SINGLE GAME they have put out has been an event for me. I'm anticipating this will be no different.

Who cares what you have, PLAY IT.

I'm doing PS4 Pro, since there's no added benefit to the ONE X version, it seems. And I have been using my PS4 PRO a hell of a lot more.



Also, can't wait for the usual idiots that will say reviewers were obligated to give this a 10 or some **** like that.

Other than the GTA V, R* have rarely ever let me down. This looks like a true evolution on the last game and a must play.

Not going to bother with the MP though and the platinum requires level 50 again. I have Vietnam flashbacks of those MP grinds.

I have never touched the MP aspect on any R* game personally.


I feel the single player is where is at, and I have always been left satisfied and wanting more.

The MP has never been a factor, so I can’t really say how it ruined GTAV for some, since I’d never be able to relate.

GameStop of all places ended up offering a good deal where I can trade my ancient Xbox One in, pre-order this game, and get a One X for an extra $200. Heading over to make it happen in a couple hours.

Yeah, I saw that the X runs it best, just too bad I don't have a 4k TV. Glad I didn't end up selling my X though.

I have my wife stopping by a store and grabbing the Xbox version for me midnight and having that pre-installed for me when I get home later tonight from a business trip. Don't have to work Friday, so it's all day Red Dead!

Also, been playing the game since I got home and WOW! The game on the big screen in 4k is breath taking. The snow at the beginning, it was like watching a film, especially doing the cinematic screen when playing. Wife watched me play for about 2 hours, which was pretty fun cause she was reminding me what buttons did what lol. I'm known to ignore prompts and then later think ''okay, what ****ing button did it say''

Got this for my Xbox One X, 106 gb download, and WOW! Truly next level open world. Took a hair to get used to the main character's voice, but hot damn, game is mind blowing in its initial opening hours.

Love how reviews are talking about the detail, specifically the realistic horse testicles, and how they react to the weather. LOL. I can see the tagline now, "we have seen the future of games, and they are horse nutz"

Played a bit last night, this is my first game for XBox.

Is it supposed to output in 5.1? Movies do, but this game doesn't. My receiver will display Dolby Digital when it's playing movies, but this game just displays PCM.

EDIT: Ah, nevermind, realized I needed to change my Audio settings to 'Bitstream out' instead of '5.1 uncompressed', which seems counterintuitive, but whatever ...

I get the sense that any additional content for the game will be released as paid DLC for the online component.
