i usually do but there was a hurricane this week in ny and we lost power in lower manhattan where i live for about five days. so i had to evacuate my home. sorry i'm behind.

you really should be reading on this thread often, or checking on the first post of the thread atleast from time to time

I thought there was two headsculpts as well. Unless, the first page is incorrect.

The first page is always correct when Im in charge

Well I think I did, but wasnt that maybe a year back or early this year and I think that was in the opposite coast, or was it?... I do tend to miss out the world news when there are natural disasters happening in my own country every year at the same time...

Dude my power is still out. I'm living off a if an extension cord that my neighbor is running me and I'm using it to take turns between my computer and TV.

I hope everyone who got effected by the storm is getting thru it as easily as possible. I have no power but no damage either so I'm extremity lucky. A lot of people here are much less lucky and have lost their homes and lives. Staten Island, Rockaway and New Jersey are war zones. This is the most f'd up natural disaster I've ever witnessed and experienced.

I was without power for 4 days and luckily got it back Friday. There was a lot of downed trees and wires around my town in Hillsborough NJ. The damage by the shores is mind blowing. I am fortunate as well that our town wasn't hit nearly as bad but there are still friends in the area with no lights. Getting gas is still a challenge as well. They cancelled Halloween which was a given at that point and they rescheduled it for November 16th. It will be so weird for my son to trick or treat a week before Thanksgiving. However I will not complain and consider myself lucky.

Really sorry to hear that, fellas. It's one thing to saw it on tv and news but an entirely different thing when you hear it from people you somewhat know (you guys on the forum). My prayers are with you guys.

Thanks Mike and good to hear that your basically ok JB. I won't compare this to Katrina or the tsunamis, but I will agree that seeing this kind of stuff on the news is nothing like seeing it in your own backyard.

Off to go get gas so wish me luck. The kind of war zone that the gas stations have been, it's hard to avoid a fight.

Halloween on my Birthday. Imagine that!

Stay safe out there guys. I've survived Hurricane Andrew and some other one that hit in Miami in the 2000s (Irene?) Things will be back to normal in no time I can reassure you of that.

glad to hear other guys from the board in the area are alright, yeah it definitely wasnt a katrina but things werent so good this week. good luck at the gfas station PcK, i hear theyve been a nightmare. friend told me they waited 10 hours to get their car filled. didnt know you still didnt have the power back.

Got gas with minimal headaches and a lot faster than expected. To say the least I've done my civic duties for the rest of the year so I hope the big guy is watching.

Yea we got robbed of Halloween this year and it sucks. I'm holding on to hope (in case you couldn't tell from the avvies and sigs ) that they will reschedule the parade so I can just postpone all my plans. I'm staying in Halloween spirit untill the confirm that there's no Halloween this year.

It happened years ago. I had to relocate to where I am now because of it. Ive been back to New Orleans a couple of times and it doesn't even seem like the same place to me. Its good to hear you guys are safe. I truly do sympathize with what you guys are going through. It's scary as hell.

Yes it is the 16th as of now like I posted earlier. Hopefully enough people will know so they are prepared that night with candy. The other issue is a snow storm may be coming mid next week which could screw things up again.

Believe it or not, this is the second year in a row around these parts that Halloween was rescheduled. There were areas in Jersey that rescheduled it last year due to the snow storm. I am very thankful we still have a home as are many others around here. However there is nothing wrong with having a little distraction for the kids being able to go around and have fun for a night forgeting what a horrible week we had.
