If I were to watch any, it would probably be Once Upon a Time in the West. It has been on my mind since I posted a video about it here. Best movie Sergio Leone made. If not that, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence.

Can't go wrong with any of those listed above, though (original 3:10 beats the the remake, IMO).

Cutting it close there Jen:wink1:

Tell me about it. the store I originally had it pre-ordered with is closing and is now not going to be getting them in. Well, better late than never and Game Stop had some decent bonuses.

Can't wait for this. Unfortunately, no stores in my area are doing a midnight release. :monkey2

3:10 to yuma is one of very few remakes I actually found to be WAY better than the original.

so who's watching some westerns this weekend? :lol

The Professionals and The Wild Bunch are closest to the same time period and actually deal with some the same plot points as Red Dead.

It doesnt get more bad ass than Lee Marvin with a WW1 style machine gun.

I'm planning on watching the Man with No Name trilogy this weekend. Can you believe I've actually never seen them??

Is there any word on if every store will have the playing cards at midnight launch. I'm off work late Monday night and I might as well kick it until midnight and pick up my game and just return the one I ordered from Gamestop when it arrives. The only problem will be if Gamestop ships the special edition, and I purchase the regular edition.

:lecture:lecture:lecture This is accurate. Both films dealth with the dying ways of the old west, the introduction of new technology, and the creeping in of civilived ways.

Fines, I think, but I have yet to hear of any store being charged for breaking a street date. More than likely the game publisher will blacklist the retail chain and not release any exclusives/promotions for that particular store for future game releases.

I have heard of gamers losing their access to online services like Xbox Live and the PS Network for breaking a street date, however. A friend who manages a retail gaming store told me that he always disconnects from the network if he decides to bring a game home and try it out before the street date, just in case.

Yes, that is true about the fines. I work for Best Buy, and I know we closely watch when video games are received, and put out on the sales floor. All of the release dates, or "street dates" are checked on games BEFORE they get to the sales floor. It is a serious issue, and it should never happen that games are sold before they are released. Somewhere in the line of distributing games to stores, the fines do happen, and can hurt particular stores for future games being released if the "street date" is violated.

As much as I want to play this game tonight, I can wait a few more days until the release date on Tuesday.
