This piece is outstanding, it's what made me register here.

I've had a complete change of interests on what I want my collection to consist of. Red Sonja will be the beginning of an incredible gallery I have planned. There's so much to appreciate here:

- The body sculpt. The sculpt of the muscles and body shape not only perfect, but make sense for the character.

- Base and pose give off a dynamic style.

- Details are exceptional. Everything from head to toe can be appreciated here. I must know whom the painter of this piece is, such talent.


This will be my first Sideshow piece. I hope they hit a home-run with this for collectors.

Red Sonja is def an amazing piece and a bunch of us are anxiously waiting for her preorder to go up. Will be a great piece to start with!

Welcome! Yep, I had a very similar reaction to the Lara Croft Guardian of Light PF years ago. Pretty much every statue I was aware of at the time was of the character standing motionless on a black disk. Then SS showed off a statue of my favorite video game character dynamically sliding down a detailed Mayan ruin, crashing through branches and shooting a machine gun. I was hooked.

When I saw this Red Sonja I got those same feelings again. This ones just at a whole different level in terms of detail and dynamic motion. I can't wait.

Being a Sideshow noob, I would like to ask you guys how long does it usually take for them to release the statue from the moment pre-orders go up?
or in short, when approximately should I expect her to arrive at my door?

Hard to say. My guess is it will go up for pre-order in the next four months, be put up with a one year release date then get delayed two or three times.
Expect her 'at your door' mid 2017.

The norm is we all get super excited and then wait a year. But then get port delays and wait another few omore months. Then we finally get it with possible Qc issues and will need to wait a couple more weeks for a replacement saying if they think you qualify for one in the first place. Then we lose a bit of interests. Not always but it happens. But if you win the lottery and get a good statue it can be all worth the wait.

Well just saying a wolf lsf is no ES but sold out like 2 months. that's misleading to customers.

Maybe the regular. EX was never cheaper than retail(even with people knowing about this one)

Lady death, gladiator hulk, red hulk pf, red hulk com, Hawkeye, bucky, Vampy, baby doll, all star wars pf been there, etc.. just to name a few more. Yes I agree after release sometimes the ex goes quite high. But after the hype dies down deals will come most of the time. Not always, but sometimes.

Where were they $300 for an EX? Never seen one under retail and I have watched constantly the whole time it has been released. Cheapest one I saw was just shy of $400 shipped for a displayed one about 6 months ago.
