Newer DC ones have come down in price, where did $550 come from? Hopefully the extra goes directly to better painters.

That's the price I was expecting. Maybe a little closer to the $500 as opposed to $550 however she's still a day one hour one preorder for me.

Well this proves that Sideshow is not immune to price hikes when making bigger and complex bases, overall I think there's more sense in this price than, say, in Wolverine, Sabretooth, Jason and a bunch of other recent preorders. Granted, this is only if it comes out with a good paint app.

Sadly, Blitzway has its own factory. I think the ones used by Gentle Giant could do the trick, they're been very solid on human figures as far as I recall.

Five hundred and fifty-****ing-dollars--so she'll be $600 with shipping. I honestly wasn't expecting her to be that much. She looked amazing at SDCC but Sideshow's QC had better be on point if they're going to jump to that price point.

I'll be doing the same. RPs will get her down to $300 for me. I'd say she's worth that. But yeah, I'll be stepping back from Sideshow's PF line for a bit. Not getting out, well that depends on if SSC is ever going to put the rest of the COTD line on order. Oh hell, who am I kidding, I'll never be out.

Excatly. And to be honest - the ex really doesn't do it for me. I can live without the axe. Looks sort of silly with the sword in one hand and the axe in the other. I'm not po'eing anything directly from SS with prices like this before I see in hand productions pix - given the last 5 years quality track record Sideshow has. I got a Jean Grey ex months after release and the Emma Frost pf can be bought at just around retail from an eu seller. And those were some of the figures I wanted to po but decided to wait and see the actual production piece.

If this turns out good my guess is that the reg can be bought at retail (or less compared to ordering direkctly from SS) from a eu seller years after release. Paticence is the keyword.

Price isn't really a problem for me considering the flex pay system SS has in place.

Considering we'll have a while before actual release date, I'm not too worried.

Plenty of time of me to pay her off.
