Just finished playing RE-Make and Resident Evil 1 for PS1. Onto RE 2, and gonna play them all

Already have the first 4 RE games that came to PSone. Pretty fun playing the retro titles

You started with Leon? You'll have a hellva time with Claire on the B scenario. The canon wait to play is Claire, then Leon.

Ah damn. When you wrote that, I read it as Leon A and Claire B...ok, thanks for the heads up. I am gonna re-start. I wonder how long it took fans to figure that out, since they made Leon Disk 1. Those Capcom types, i tell ya...

Yeah, Leon should of been disk 2, but I assume they made him 1 since he's the face of the game. Leon is WAY more suited for B scenario since it's harder and he's packing way more firepower. Claire's bowgun sucks, and the only real powerful weapon she gets is the grenade launcher.

Which version of RE1 was it, the PSN version? that thing's music is terrible. For some reason they felt the need to put the ****** director's cut version with the changed OST.

I love RE4 even though it's got a lot of WTF stuff in comparison to classic RE, like Salazar's Metal Gear robot thing.

Yeah I played the Xbox one version of Re-make, followed by the Psone original. Nothing can top the live action intro in the original. Loved it from start to finish. I played RE4 when it came out on the Gamecube years ago, but had no idea what was happening half the time. Have not played it since, and have never played the others...so, got some catching up to do.

Is the RE7 demo ever going to come to Xbox live, or is it a PSN exclusive?

Alternatively playing both scenarios with both characters in RE2 is great imo. lots of replay value and differences.

But Pliss is right. Claire is so woefully underpowered for the B scenario, it's criminal. I almost feel like her grenade launcher doesn't have the power Jill's bazooka did...or maybe it's because she has only the grenade launcher and handgun since the bowgun isn't that great. She needs the machine gun, and I still recommend she takes it in the A Scenario.

I'm half tempted to buy RE6... I'm so bored of my games. I haven't touched RE5 in awhile, and Rev 2 got old too fast.

See what you guys mean about the grenade launcher......launches about 3 ft in front of her...lol

Decided to stop for the night. Most puzzles are pretty easy, which is cool. Definitely dig the police station location

I don't know why they programmed the grenade launcher to fire like that... especially considering they don't operate like that at all. It was changed in RE3 to fire like a normal projectile thankfully.

Well it was actually a grenade launcher in RE1, but they stupidly called it a bazooka.

Claire should always take the Mac 10, and I always leave the side pack for Leon.

In RE3 it goes straight and it's a single projectile instead of a cluster. Although I believe the round drops over distance.

I don't know if you know this, but if you can get to the RPD without picking up items, Brad Vickers the STARS helicopter pilot will be a zombie outside in the underground walkway in front of the RPD. If you kill him, you get a key for the evidence room in the west wing 1st floor which gives you a different costume for either character. Claire can get a single action army revolver that fires fast, and Leon will hold his gun sideways and fire faster.

Did you never play RE3?

He gets killed by Nemesis in the very beginning. RE3 takes place a day before RE2, so Brad reanimated and roams around the entrance to the RPD until RE2.

Never, so not clicking on that tag yet...but thanks. Yeah, only RE4 and started Re-make back on the Cube, but never finished it until last week, when I beat the HD remake, then the classic PS1. First time on RE2 too....and loving it.

Yeah best not look at it. I think RE2 is the best of the series. RE3 was rushed out since Code Veronica's development was taking longer than expected and put it together in like 5 months. I love RE3. It's shorter but it was made harder. There's speedruns beating it in 45 minutes.
