"Weskers new voice" Richard Waugh :rock

I haven't been following. Which games in the series have you played, Matt?

Playing in order of release, mostly. Started with the HD remake version, then went to the PS1 versions of RE1-3, PS2 RE: V code X, replayed Re-make HD with Jill and now RE: Zero. Skipped Survivor for now, and gonna skip the Gameboy version. Having a blast with them all. And yeah, this Wesker's voice is awesome but I liked the remake version too.

With RE: zero, I like not having item boxes, and since we control two characters, double the standard space, so a little change like that has added an interesting layer for me.

I don't mind no item boxes, but having the grenade launcher and shotguns take up two item slots is retarded.

They're deemed a "failure" by Umbrella, but them and the Hunters seem like the most Bio Weapon of them all outside of Tyrant.

I kinda have a soft spot for them since they're a sideways version of Goldblum as the Spacebug at the end of the Fly.

After going through the bulk of the series... what's your favorite monster, Matt?

the 2 slots weapons are annoying, I'll give you that. Hmm, fav monster: at this moment, I am inclined to go with Nemesis. He looks cool, loved his relentless pursuit of you, and had a legit funny moment toward the end.

I actually really like the look of the slug zombies in RE: Zero too, but Nemesis was cool. Wesker is another fav

It's such a bizarre choice, it was never present in previous games. Rocket launchers and special weaopns may have taken up two slots but it was a small price to pay. Plus since you're limited to six slots, it really harms you.

I somehow think Goldblum as the Fly was scarier, just knowing what he was and became :horror

I just bought RE4 and RE5 off PlayAsia and they should arrive in a week or so. For some reason, I totally forgot about RE6 until I already checked out my order! :slap

It really causes needless backtracking that you don't need to do. One person has to mule all the two spot weapons while the other holds herbs and key items.

Yeah and considering there are points of no return, plus the fact that rooms can only hold a certain amount of items, you can be screwed. Combine that with the few times you are forced to have only one character, you can be screwed again. It's stupid!

The Training Facility is really poorly put together. I look forward to you getting further through it so you can join in the bitching on the geographical inconsistencies that pretty much destroy a good part RE2.

Don't blame you, I had to a lot at times.

But when you join in for bitching, I got a seat saved for you :hi5:

Agreed.....and this game reminds me of Veronica X in the sense that, at times you are not prepared for on an initial playthrough, you have to decide who carries what weapon. On the one hand, I appreciate this game doing something a little different, but its odd having so many items just laying on the ground.

I feel like a lot of boss fights in RE0 aren't built up at all and come literally out of nowhere. They aren't the hardest in the series, more annoying then anything due to tactics or things.
