here's a fun little tip for the DLC. in the main hall of the mansion check the front door a couple times at first it says "investigate" but after "investigating" a few (i think it was three) it changes from "investigate" to just "?". when you click this it changes to the classic RE1 static camera angles perspective! I'm playing through like this right now. its tricky but awesome!

I guess its only for the mansion portion, once you go into the bowels of the place, the prison area, it switches back to regular RE5 behind the shoulder

real tempted to download the dlc, but trying to hold back for the gold edition. although i could just get the gold for xbox, and download the dlc for the ps3.....

i forget, does RE5 have to be downloaded onto the hdd for the ps3? I deleted the file and dont care to sit around waiting for it to install.

Played Merceneries Reunion last night and this morning; haven't had a chance to play the Lost in Nightmares chapter. Warrior Chris is by far the best character in this first bunch, he comes with a handgun, Hydra, and PSG. Excella is by far the worst.

Just curious, does anybody know if the new chapters will be integrated in the game in the hard copy of RE: Gold Edition? Right now, the new chapters are under a Extra Content submenu.

The costume Chris wears in the lost in nightmares chapter, is it a new one? Or is it the STARS outfit? And if it is a new one, can it be used in the main game? Cheers anyone.

I'll take complete remakes for 2,3, and Code Veronica first.

Went ahead and downloaded it for the PS3, took a few moments of getting used to the controls again. Overall it was pretty good, didn't really care for those fish/leech like monsters though. Tried to get the trophy for the stars and weskers damage, but it was a no go this first run.

the gamecube remakes of resident evil and metal gear( the twin snakes ) are the only reason i got a gamecube, but it would be nice to get a remake with re5 graphics. btw, remakes of 2,3, and c:veronica would be awesome too! i just kinda miss the old resident evil 1,2, &3 zombie thing.

Not very long, an hour at best if you're playing the first time around and you get stuck trying to figure out what to do. The next time around, you could probably finish it in like 25 minutes.
