It's funny how the creators are trying to make it sound like the co-op mode is new to Resident Evil but RE0 also had a co-op mode as well.

I am looking at that footage and thinking...this looks like RE 4.5.

And? So every Resident Evil title up to Code Veronica should be called RE 1.6(RE2) and 1.7(RE3)? (RE1.5 actually exists, in one form or another)

What's wrong with getting more of a great thing with updated graphics, new story, new characters, new control scheme and CO-OP PLAY? If that isn't worthy of an integer increase in the title, I don't know what is.

I dunno, maybe I want the Tyrant back, along with the zombies. Shooting bug infected people isn't as appealing.

I can agree with that. Not knowing a lot about Umbrella, this mysterious company with the creepy mansions and unknown backstory made the mystery of the game a little more than the actual game. Know with RE 4 & 5, we lose the mystery and creepiness. Still stooked to play it though.

I loved the mystery & creepiness of the Remake for the Gamecube.

I hope they go back to that sometime.

Same here. The classic RE games have a certain creepieness and tesion to them that can't be beat. Still RE4 definantly had some creepy moments and characters. I mean one the most intense parts in the game was at the begginning when you go into the house and you hear all the Ganados yelling in a foreign language (spanish) and then you hear the chainsaw roar up. You can't tell me that didn't make you tense up just a little and the garden maze with all the Plaga infested wolves jumping out at you. How is that not creepy.

I agree...you have to evolve or else everyone would get sick of the format. I'm sure they'll eventually make another enclosed / crazy mansion style game in the future but by then it'll be fun instead of feeling tired. RE4 is a classic. I'm psyched for 5, especially since I just got a 360 tonight! My fiancee is the first girl I've ever been with that actually bought me things I wanted for Christmas!

Perosnally, I thought Mr.Big (RE2) was far more terrifying than anything in RE4 and he was like in the game for probably 7 minutes worth.

I loved RE4 but I'm not going to lie, seeing the video of what it was before it had the major transformation is something I would have much rather had as the final product.

Yeah that was definantly a very cool and very creepy concept and would have been interesting to see that RE4.

Admitadly as much as I love the older RE games, the camera angles allways irritated me some. Like when you would go around a corner and run into a zombie or shoot a blindly knowing there's a zombie in the same room you're in but not knowing if it's direcly in front of you.
