First of all i would never talk s^^^ about a real war hero because that would just be disrespectful and stupid.


Second of all this is just a f^^^ing game, which means the characters aren't "REAL".

anyway when i play "AWESOME" games like this i just feel that the main character(s) are just bad ass MOFOs and that nothing could stop them.:lol

Are the characters you play supposed to move so damn slow? If it's supposed to built suspense, it only builds anger in me.
 
Correct but in Dead Space you can MOVE WHILE SHOOTING, something that Capcom and the RE team still haven't figured out. allowing the character to move while shooting doesn't necessarily make it an action game. Silent Hill allowed it, and Dead Space forced the player to move slowly when taking aim. Limiting character speed while aiming is probably the best way to incorporate the function while still keeping the survival/horror aspect intact.

I know it's been talked about ad nauseum already, but I tolerated RE4's controls because at the time I was blown away by the game's other facets, but I don't think I can be so tolerant this time around, especially when it's been 3 years.

So far, RE5 is hobbled by the controls. I don't like it.

You know, sometimes distilling a conversation down to "don't like, don't buy" is so obvious to most that it shouldn't need to be uttered. Maybe my complaints appeared transparent because of my wording, but it's still valid and it's a complaint that many RE fans are voicing.

It's funny, you can't say anything else but "don't like, don't buy" because you either A) can't argue against my reasoning because deep down you know i'm right or B) You're a fanboy who is new to these forums.

Think up some better, more worthwhile replies or don't bother.

I think they are going to allow you to shoot while moving in the final version. If thats not true than blame Karma. He is the one that told me that. :lol
 
Messed with the Demo yesterday and had a good time. Graphics where pretty darn cool and loved seeing these zombies get blasted with the shottie. :rock

Heck yeah, I just saw the OXM report on inside Xbox video and the guy confirmed that you'll be able to run and shoot as an option.:banana:banana
 
just keep running around and shooting, and punch him when he stumbles. grenades help too.

Oh, I forgot about the grenades. I kept trying to set off the red canisters and fill him full of hot lead. Thanks. I'll try some gredades later tonight.
 
Downloaded the demo earlier. It keeps freezing. I get on to the game, the "assembly" mission, and after the cut scene where they chop the guys head off it freezes while loading. I try pressing the PS button but that does nothing, so I end up turning my PS3 off. Try again, same happens again.

I deleted the demo and re-downloaded it, hopefully that may work, and i'll be able to play on from the cut scene. Not played it yet had to go out. If not, any advice on what I can do?

My thought on the game so far : WTF, chris' arms? Great graphics, cameras a bit close. And I don't mind not being able to run while shooting.
