Nope, still not working. Did you have the same problems Alice?

I initially downloaded the JP demo. The Assembly stage hung after the first cutscene during loading forcing me to hard reset the console. Everything else worked fine. Deleted, redownloaded and reinstalled and it fixed the problem. Then I downloaded the US demo to play with a friend, and it gave me an error when I tried to install. Deleted, redownloaded and it installed fine.

Played the demo last night. Unfortunately, RE4 for the Wii spoiled me and now I struggle to figure out the controls. :monkey2

At least on the 360 you can change the stuff around. They said its called action controls which would be similar to GOW.

OK, does anyone know how the ^^^^ you move the camera out on the 360??!! It's so ^^^^ing close that I can't really even play the game and I got so pissed I almost threw my controller!!!!

The view being so close is actually making me HATE this game!!

I wanted to love it so much, but I just can't.

It's the same controls as from all the other RE (I never had a Wii, so I like the oldschool style controls) but the view is so ^^^^ing close to their backs that I always have to aim down just to see straight ahead of me!! WTF is up with that??!!

Does anyone else have this problem or did I just set it up wrong on my 360?? Any help would be great!!

The camera angle doesn't bother me but I'm sure in the setup you can change it. Maybe not on the demo but on the regular version I bet you can.

Zack, have you played any R.E. game prior to this or 4? If you haven't thank your lucky stars for what you have! In earlier games all the environments were static and you had to wait for your character to move around a corner for the camera to change, which resulted in very awkward angles. The new camera is a God send.

played the demo on ps3.

graphics where great but control was so slow.
it was liKe evrything was on slow motion.
and yes the close camera angle conflicted with the game play.

I will be playing this game for sure but I hope they fix some of the minnor problems the demos has.

Did you use the Run button at all? All you had to do was hold down (not sure what button it would be on PS3) A and I was running all over the place!

Compared to most modern games, RE5 does have a very old-fashioned, very slow paced control system. Something that may prove problematic to Capcom....I am sure sales will be stellar, but it'll be interesting to see the general reaction from non fanboy types.
