One thing I can say about Code Veronica is that, it was the last Resident Evil games that actually felt like Resident Evil. RE5 just seems like it's in another world.

True. Outbreaks and Zero did too,as they were fresh stories, but CV was the last proper entry. outbreak suffered from abysmal AI though which really made it suffer. I always let the AI do what they wanted and I just focused on myself. Zero was ace, great partner system but ultimately it was just RE 1 on a train and a different mansion. But I loved how you met Enrico in the area where you carry Sherry into the save room in the labs. Proper geek squee moment!

Thats what made me get hopes up for an RE2 remake almost 10 years ago. they had that area already made!

You keep confusing what I am saying. In terms of the storyline and feel. The REmake and Zero don't need to be spoken for, their both masterpieces. You can't really throw Outbreak in there since it's not really canon. But, I found Outbreak 1 & 2 far more entertaining and true to Resident Evil than RE5.

Resident Evil 4 was a departure from the originals, but it still kept that nervous mood as you play it. There was no sense of nervous urgency playing RE5. You are over equipped with weapons and items and it was co-op. The game was well in your favor. I just hope RE6 is as good as it looks and keeps the creepy factor with the zombies.

There has been rumors for years for a Resident Evil 2 remake and I believe the producer said he wanted to do a remake recently. If they do, it needs to be done with tank controls with awkward camera angles.

Its the other way round. your confusing me with what im saying; I alreayd said outbreaks arent classed as a numerical entry to the main franchise, hence why I say Zero is the last proper entry as it was released after CV. I was also saying that Outbreaks and Zero had great stories, even if they are outside the numerical entries which Zero isnt, is canon released after CV and thus the last true RE game. They are true RE games, whether outbreak is numerical or not.

And alot of outbreak is classed as canon.

Enrico was pretty damn competent, traversing several expansive areas on his own for two days. Kind of doesn't make sense that he couldn't reach civilization :lol

I wouldnt of been surprised if Enrico was working for Wesker in some Fashion like Barry was. Maybe even more in-the-know than Barry was. How the hell did Enrico get into the underground lab when we know Rebecca and Billy shot off at 2,000mph in the ecliptic express then made their way to the Lab. While seemingly Enrico should still be sniffing around the woods. We know whats in the area's of the lab Enrico came from due to RE2. So the only way he can of came from there is if he had used the emergency escape train thing. Or walked miles underground through the tunnel then came out by the escape trains then work his way out of the lab. But no matter what the explanation is he traveled way too much ground for it to make sense in terms of him being in the lab before Billy and Rebecca.

Maybe Wesker decided to dispose of him for whatever reason and thats why we see him get off'ed in the caverns.

Nice observation! I never once thought that Enrico could have indeed been puppeted to some extent by Wesker. It's a damn shame RE0 didn't have its own verson of "4th Survivor" with Enrico's exploits =/

Lol funny thing is re4 was the first game of re I beat but this was back when I was noob at video games.

I first completed Resident evil 1 at the end of 2010 and Nemesis a little later. RE4 and code veronica June 2011.

And im a RE snob!

Remember, Enrico wouldve been with Forest Speyer, Kenneth J and Richard Aiken. At points they wouldve split up but they all got to the Spencer Mansion. Enrico met up with Rebecca in the RE2 area of the sewers and labs after she got there at the RE2 dead factory, and then rebecca joined them at Spencer mansion. Which is where Enrico explored the underground laboratory and the cave area resulting in the sewers and inviting her to join him and the rest of Bravo, Forest took the east side and was mauled by crows, Kenneth took the west and was ambushed and beheaded, Richard stuck with Rebecca and explored the upper floors and encountered Yawn.

Enrico deffinitely wasnt working with Wesker. Wesker assassinated him because he knew too much. I think he also knew Barry was being forced to support Wesker.

RE2 in 1998, 99 for RE3, DC was 2000, RE1 ps1 was 2000, REmake and Zero in 2002. Basically the release year I finished the game essentially. Cept CV. never finished it.

I did RE2 about 20 times the year it came out. I did play the first game and Nemesis but i was a terrible gamer back then. I was probably about 14-15. I was great at Tekken and stuff. Race game whiz kid. But i didnt have the patience to put up with some of the puzzles. And i was a bit of a thicko. And i didnt have google to help me out.

I got into RE through my cousins since they were 10 years older than me. I was roughly 9 or 10 years old when I first played RE1 haha. Whenever they got stuck on a puzzle in the first 3 games they would always call me to come around and solve it. They were hopeless with the water purification puzzle at the end of Resident Evil 3 :rotfl

My girlfriend has been going through them for the first time recently. She was always hesitant to play them due to the tank controls since she finds it awkward but now it's no issue for her. She's only done Resident Evil 2 and 3. I think the REmake might be too intense for her since it's more involved gameplay, but she did prove me wrong with the other two.

Dude, water purification has to be the most anger inducing puzzle ever. I remember it being too hard when i was 9. No internet back then so i waited for the next issue of playstation play for a walkthrough or someone asking an 'expert' for help in the readers questions

Nowadays I'm too lazy to go look it up on a walkthrough and I usually just wing it and in about 5 or 10 minutes I figure it out. It's got to be the toughest puzzle in the series to this day.

I still remember the hidden underground waterfall entrance in RE1 when I first played it. When I found out all I had to do was use the elevator and go backward behind it with the pool full of water, I was like "ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh I see :D" hahaha
