I first played RE2 for the 64. My brother rented it and and just fell in love with it! It was scary, I remembered. LOL Anyway, but I knew it was a sequel so for my birthday I asked for a Playstation and RE1 and RE2.

Awesome!!! Which characters have been announced? Claire?! I do hope they add more character's like RE5, but no goofy costumes. They should just stick with the classic looks for Chris, Leon, and Ada.

No new characters have been announced yet but Capcom have themselves said they are leaving characters involved in the game to slowly be drip fed to us. So giving us a mercs list would be pretty spoilerific! Though i think its a Given Jake, Chris, Leon & Ada will be playable (possibly with each of their partners and alt costumes)

Dude, water purification has to be the most anger inducing puzzle ever. I remember it being too hard when i was 9. No internet back then so i waited for the next issue of playstation play for a walkthrough or someone asking an 'expert' for help in the readers questions

This. To this day I still hate that puzzle. I have a pic that shows all the the possible combinations for it nowdays when I play RE3.

Re 4 is one of my favorite games, not sure why but it has something to it that makes is really special.
I played all and owned all RE games for PS1 and GC, PS3.
Re 1 and DC were really good. The remake was amazing and gave me the creeps cuz of the crimsom and specially Lisa...traumatizing lol.
Re3 was the most scariest because i was constantly harrased by that ____er lol. i loved the puzzles the RE games had back then. nowdays most games lack that because they are more action oriented and graphics, cameras and other controlers and interfaces allows for a more fast paced. back then puzzle made up for all those other things that we can do now with videogames in this age.
RE5 I like, specially the gold edition. I think that the evolving of the virus in to a more life form is a good step to not bring the same formula of dull zombies but in another country. now back to re6 with an enhaced zombie virus that has the mobility of the plagas and the looks and properties of the classic G and T viruses, bringing all the char from previous games (almost except jill, claire) I think is a bang!. amazing. a great culminative climax.
I believe Re 4 and 5 were needed in order to buiild the story to re6.
if re 4 and 5 would have been umbrellas alone doing and same t or g or whatever virus, there probably wouldnt be a re 6.

Welllllllll, they were in the reunion DLC only (and gold). Maybe if they had of made it to the main game;s mercs they could of had a slim chance. As opposed to being revealed in a DLC after the games initial release

We did get 7 of the mercs from the main game.

Bit of interesting merch coming. Capcom are releasing Claire Redfield made in heaven t-shirts in August (Japan only). Id like to think it was a slight hint for RE6
