What Capcom needs to do is leave Chris and Jill alone. If they want different main characters fine, but don't just change or kill them b/c you feel like it. I think once a character becomes so popular you owe it to the community and fans to respect them. What they've done to Chris would be like Nintendo turning Mario into Crocodile Dundee (RIP). I think Chris needs to go rehab and drop some muscle weight.

I partially agree with this. However, As fans we should also respect the direction the creators want to take their characters. Even if we hate it.

Wesker had it coming since RE 1. Ive wanted to kill that ****er since I first beat RE on the PSX. I was glad they finally offed that prick.

I respect that, definitely, but I think there is a line that Capcom has crossed recently. I think sometimes they don't respect their creations anymore, I mean.. the man who created RE and Chris Redfield isn't even working on RE anymore since RE4, no? It's hard to understand. I don't like to make heavy statements like that because honestly, I don't know much of the facts. I like how they've handled Leon for the most part, but Chris has been kinda screwed.

I love Chris, he's hands down my favorite character, but as of RE6 he doesn't even seem like Chris anymore. I feel like RE5 you could still say "this is Chris, he's changed, but it's still him". Now, it's like Capcom have created a new character and they just call him Chris and make sure his outfit has some green in it. I think they've been more respectful with Leon. Anyway, I'm withholding any further "judgement", lol, until I play more of RE6. As of now he doesn't even look like Chris Redfield anymore imo, and honestly imo, looks are 75% of what makes a video game character who they are..

He kinda just looks like an aged version of the chris we saw in RE5 to me. I'd say Leon looks (and sounds) different to the last time we saw him more than Chris does.

Yeah, but he still seems like Leon. I don't know, I guess so.. Like I said, I'll just have to wait and see. I don't mind characters maturing, I just think they took Chris in the wrong direction, and they didn't do it for artistic reasons. I think it was more to appeal to a different crowd of gamers. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy everything I've played of RE6, but I don't think Chris needed to be changed this radically.
