Ok I got unlimited ammo on shotgun and magnum I equipped
The skill but there is still nothing? do I have to findthe weapons in campaign for them to have the unlimited ammo or do I start with them at the beginning of the chapter?

check these, if its not these i dont know

1) you actually have it equipped and in your equipped skill set
2) you set infinite ammo to on
3) you clicked "no" when starting a new game over when it asks you if you wish to start without the weaponry you previously got

But im kind of in the same boat at the moment. Im on my 3rd play through and when i went to Leons for the 3rd time i had all my weapons (eventhough i played the 2nd time with Helena). But i started Chris's again and i only have pistol and machine gun.

3rd play through? I could barely manage one. I remember in re5, I went back like 2x with the special weapons.

I wouldn't rule out jake being a clone of weaker in some sort.

Ive still got some trohpies to get and plenty of skills to unlock. once that novelty runs out ill be back on the pre re4 games until new DLC comes out

the AI never fell off with me, i was always the unfortunate one! The AI has always held up its part of the deal in this game for me. Only annoying times is if im stood by a door holding circle to go through it and the ai is so slow to get to it the bad guys im trying to avoid fighting end up attacking me

rage quitting gets you nowhere! Once you finish chris's campaign you can do jakes (As Sherry!) its much more satisfying.

its k, I played on normal, gotta play in the hardest difficuties

I'm going for Leon Veteran in a minute, and I'll try not to die.. I won't die. Not even once

That was my plan too, the first time I deactivated the annoying HUD and played like that, I went to being ok to dying state many times with one punch and I was like WTF!.. and I overused the few bullets I always had
I guess I can't use my Berserker style on Veteran

I tried playing Mercs a couple of times and miserably failed, I assume, b/c only killed like 30 zombies. This will take some getting used to, lol.

It does, but if you are good at RE5 mercs you get used to it in no time

i find mercs to be very easy on re6. (though if you are not carefull when the bloodshots turn up about 8 a time its very easy to die if you dont keep your eye on the health bar)

I run around, stock up on the boxes of ammo and health smash all the time crystals then just stand in the middle and kill as many as i can in a string combo to get the big points. i got over 100 kills in a row a few days ago i was quite happy with it. It pisses me off when you are trying to keep your kill streak going and you find yourself in a QTE and it goes
