Thanks, but I knew this for two decades now. Doesn't change the fact it's designed to be the Spencer Mansion part deux.
Which is why I love the RE1.5 police station, it actually looks like one in real life. I guess it was considered too bland though.

I was thinking the very same. I find it way more visually threatening too since most areas are pretty dimly lit.

The dimly lit areas make sense since in the final build, power was seen to be failing. The 1.5 Police Station looked like an actual police station, and it looked really interesting to go through. It's also strange how there were German Shepherds instead of Dobermans, like how police use German Sheperds in reality...so I don't get that change. Given the larger frame, they would have been harder to deal with. Hoping Capcom can remedy that.

I don't think it was bland at all really, some parts yeah but I also have to say. Pliss, you're totally right on the inconsistencies. It was really apparent when I did a playthrough of RE2 right after 3. The only thing on blockade I can think of is Leon's RPD status got him through somehow, or the military got killed...the latter is the only thing for Claire to get through. Jill I think was doing investigations and got stuck, but since she saw this coming, it makes no sense still. That said, if she did make it out pre-outbreak, I wonder how far Nemesis would have, or actually could have, gone to track her down?

The blockade is just a blatant plot hole. They felt the need to retcon the situation outside the city, by destroying the credibility of the opening sequence of RE2...

They brought Dobermans into it since they wanted people who played RE1 to be comfortable with it I guess? One thing I'll say, the Web Spinners always ****ing sucked as enemies. They are utterly useless in the sewers.

I think the Chimera should of gotten more appearances in the main storyline besides RE1. I always found them disturbing since they're relatively humanoid.

They've had to retcon a lot about Raccoon City's Destruction...don't get why. Hopefully RE2make settles on something permanent that Capcom won't argue against, and satisfies the fans.

Might make sense on Dobermans, but it's inaccurate. Web Spinners are so bad at their job in the PS1 games, though I swear in REmake/RE0 they're somewhat threatening...

Even in RE1, the Chimera had barely any appearances but they would have neat to have again.

Raccoon city was destroyed in two ways throughout the series IIRC. The single nuke in RE3, and then the bombardment from fighter jets I think, in Outbreak.

I think it should be mentioned, that the acting in REmake isn't anything remarkable either. At least you can laugh at the ridiculousness of the PS1.

Gaming Sins :lol that they gave DmC 9000 sins for existing and bitched about the fanboy crap means I can't really take them seriously tbh

That said I wish they subtracted more sins for the likes of Barry :lol

RE3 and CV remake please!

RE3 can benefit from getting a remake. Longer gameplay, etc. I can totally see why 3 is consider more of a side game. Since Code Veronica is actually RE3. With Capcom working on 2, they can work on 3 as well. Raccoon City/RPD. Ther could even expand Carlos walkthrough.

If that comes back, I'll fully forgive Capcom for RE6.

Same, to some extent. :lol I'm trying to ignore 6's existence but after 5's killing of Wesker we get an even worse sequel. :lol

The rumors that we're going around the time 6 was announced sounded better than the actually game. :lol

Having the same team pen the REmake 3 would benefit the consistency of geography in both games. Plus, they can re-purpose the RPD from REmake 2 so that's like 5% of the game already done.

I think one thing to extend the game further would be make the truck crash in REmake 2 further away from the RPD. There's also so many places that could be implemented into REmake 3 to have the game longer. I would hope that some of those Spencer-esk puzzles would be taken out since they serve no purpose outside the mansion.

Umbrella Corps is a warm up? Really? :lol I don't know how to feel about a potential 7, RE2make would be enough to be its own game like REmake is.

RE3make would be great, they can re-use a lot of RE2make and it'd fit in better. But RE Outbreak re-released would be awesome too.. especially since I've been thinking of buying it off a retro store near me :lol and I dunno about playing offline
