Yeah, social media is the best representation of how people can be deranged. Konami wouldn't toss him on a whim. I'm sure it was a two way street with his termination. No one is blameless, and with NDA's in place we'll never know what happened.

Absolutely! I've read stories of employees posting stuff on twitter which spread through the internet, and their company would have to let them go. Rarely would they get a job where their original posts didn't hold them back.

I do think we may see some leak on what happened, somehow...though I do see Konami trying to cover it. But it was totally a two way street, I refuse to believe it otherwise.

I'm gonna go on a limb and say he wasted some of that on Stefanie Joosten among other stupid ****. Konami wasn't even that bad before they dropped out, and yeah, they've done stupid **** since then, but Kojima is just unprofessional. They had something going until they prevented Kojima from going to that awards show though, I think that really killed any chance of proving their innocence in the debacle

I would say post- MGS3 is where everything went wrong, because you can see a lot of work went into the game. I wanna say I'm 50/50 on MGS4 since it still felt like he cared, but on the other hand the story was getting bat**** bad

I'd imagine he really ****ed up some inside **** which led to his termination, like wasting most of that budget on complete nonsense which is my belief. The Japanese devs and companies loathe the west. Just look at any long running game that was made in Japan. How many of them kept the same actors for every iteration? I can't think of a one. But Akio Otsuka played every version of Snake. I don't care how well he can act, Japanese just sounds Japanese to me. Trying to push Hayter out... but then going with him? Obviously you ended up going with him for a reason. It isn't like there's a short amount of talent out there he could of picked over him.

I can't believe the balls on him asking Russell to play Naked Snake when he blatantly made a career of ripping off the Escape series

My friend thinks Kojima is God! Like literally, and he got all defensive with me asking if I even played the game. I said no, so he basically said I had no right no talk about MGSV with him, which I wasn't technically just saying that the game got a lot backlash. Also he likes 6 a lot so makes sense. he's told me I don't like 7 because I didn't finish it.

Been playing Metal Gear since 1991 and for the longest time thought that Kojima could do no wrong, and I was constantly sucking his you know what. I was a Metal Gear fanatic, that is until MGS4 and subsequent games came where they became lowbrow, long winded, perverted, and pandering towards the easily impressionable. (Except Metal Gear Rising, which was not made by Kojima).

Anyway point is, I will always defend MGS1 and 2 as being brilliant games, but Kojima's high point was MGS2- a game too smart for it's own good that ironically is the one hated the most by his hardcore worshipers. Instead he lets all the praise gets to him and letting gullible people like your pal there to do the talking on his behalf.

He totally had to! There's no way some **** didn't go down that Konami would throw out Kojima when MGS was, to many, the only thing holding them together. Capcom also throws out a lot of VAs too and SEGA is hated for it. Why they keep the Japanese ones...idk, but Japanese is well Japanese. The Hayter thing was enough to tell me something isn't right. But Russell, oh man. What has he said about MGS?

But Japanese devs...my god. The creator of Kirby and Smash Bros, Masahiro Sakurai, makes stupid statements like how he feels about dramatic game stories and characters dying. Um, you write stories about a plucky puffball trying to take down an anthropomorphic penguin, get out. He goes on to talk **** about the Smash Bros community like the youtube videos ruining his cutscenes and them making money off his games in competition, while the story in one of the single player modes showed blatant favoritism to the games he made. And the fans defend him, despite the fact that some of them are who he's talking about! Also, Sakurai is best friends with Kojima - do you see the influence Kojima has on people?

Oh and if you guys want to see professionally deranged social media pages, I implore you to check out the official Sonic the Hedgehog Facebook and Twitter pages. Pre-2015 (or 2014 idk) they were fun, modest pages that showed some love to the fanbase. Then some new guy took over, and it's the stuff of self-aware memes. SEGA is now completely aware of everything wrong with the fanbase, and the stuff they say on there is AMAZING they maintain a lot of humor, and yet they keep people up to date on stuff. They're always talking about something Sonic related, official, joke or something else. And SEGA doesn't mind at all with some of their statements

we are overdue a new chronicles game. We have 4,5 , rev 1 and 2 we could play as rail shooters, and then bonus missions as the other guys to fill in some plot. Ill be generous and say we already played as " the other guys " in re 6 at the same time in different places as an excuse not to have to include it.

I played Umbrella Chronicles and it was all right, sold it though to buy something else, idk what need to pick it up again and Darkside sometime though.

I didn't mind the RE2 section in Darkside Chronicles. I think it followed the events pretty well.

Now Umbrella Chronicles on the other hand... what in the **** did they do to Nemesis? He sounds like a cyborg, and they gave him this weird transformation he didn't even have in RE3...

I played it once with friends. Fun game, but something I don't see myself desiring for a third game. To each their own.

I swear I'm the only one around here that doesn't like CV (besides Wesker)

To me, CV and Zero are battling for the worst game of the main series.

G3 Birkin was pretty terrifying looking. They really went with the whole winged demon look.
