Sorry, but I never really thought of the French as being dangerous. Villians, sure. Dangerous, meh.

Damn it started shooting!!!!!

I preferred the original idea they had for the movie. Which was titled "Nottingham", in which Crowe playing Nottingham and the movie was shown from his point of view portraying the sheriff as the good guy.

Oh! And the reason Crowe grew his hair long was for the role of The Sheriff of Nottingham, but I guess since he isn't playing him anymore that Crowe grew his hair for nothing. :(

:lol Well, maybe not now... But at one point the French were a force to be reckoned with. They are the originators of Medieval Feudalism after all. They were badasses in their day.

I trust Ridley Scott, that man always rocks the house with his historical dramas. :rock

Looks like they have gone for an older version of BBC's Robin Hood.
I hope they don't have women running round in make-up and salon style hair cuts like the crappy beeb show. :lol

what the hell is up with Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe? It's starting to feel like Rob Zombie and how Sid Haig and Bill Mosley are in all his movies. Get some new actors!!!

saw the trailer. not quite sure what to make of it just yet. it's just a montage of scenes, with no meaning or context. but does look very well-shot, as is always the case with ridley's films...

Well, that was blah. I don't know why they even bother trying to make new versions of Robin Hood anyway.

This is Robin Hood. Everyone else, go home.

The 80s British version took a different, mystical slant and it worked really well until they replaced Robin.

Hell, I even liked the Costner version okay. It's a great story that has endured the ages, there's always room for a retelling.

This looks exciting but very familiar - but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

The trailer looks cool, but it does try to get that "Gladiator 2" vibe to it. I'm sure it'll be good though as I love both Ridley Scott and Russell Crow.

I saw Costner's verison 3 times in the theater when it came out. I'll probably see this too.
