Ridley Scott's Robin Hood

Really looking forward to this one. I like almost everything Crowe is in. Robin Hood needed an epic, grittier, more realistic treatment ... and Crowe is 10x the actor Costner is.

It looks a little Gladiator-esque. But, Gladiator is very literally among the top-5 guy's guy movies of all time ... always good to have another possible contribution to that list.

Not IMO... that movie was crap.

This looks fairly boring to me... I'm sure it will be fun, but it (at least this trailer) didn't seem to have a sense of substance to it.

I fell asleep watching King Arthur. In broad daylight.

This feels too much like Gladiator. I'd really like for someone to make a good Robin Hood movie, but if it's just a movie I've already seen, with a hero I've already seen, wearing different clothes and fighting bad guys in a different part of the world, I really can't be bothered.

That looks a lot better than the teaser trailer, a lot better. I didn't know Cate Blanchett was in it, that's a huge plus.

100% agreed! But more importantly I love the story of Robin Hood and of course love Russell Crowe. This is gonna be huge imo. Can't wait!

Anything is going to look bad at the minute because people are comparing this to Gladiator wheter they realise it or not and rightly so since its Scott and Crowe again.

I'm looking forward to this and hope it ends up great.
