I admit, I was both stoked and apprehensive about this piece, but I just saw it at Sideshow today, and it looks killer. It's back on my must have list at a full 1/4 scale of huge.

Excellent news. I think that pretty well confirms what alot of us have suspected, namely that the Ringwraith will finally make it's appearance at SDCC.

No, I did not see a completely finished PF. I saw different parts in different work areas, so I don't know if they've got it finalized yet. It may or may not be at SDCC.

That is the option I would go along with.

I'm quite sure it will look fantastic and I'm hoping he won't cost too much more than $600...but that may be just a fool's hope.

It will cost as much as a real horse, BUT it will cost a WHOLE lot less to feed!

Even if Ringwraith and Sauron are super expensive I have no problem canceling a few orders or even selling a couple of old PF's for these bad guys. This is how bad I've been wanting these two. I just pray they look bad ass and live up to everyone's expectations.

Yeah see I only collect bad guys adn well this guy and Sauron are going to throw a wrench in my plans depending on when there released and how much there going to cost.

Sauron & Ringwarith on Steed PF's are definately on my must have list no matter what. 2 big baddies can't be passed on, especially the Dark Lord & 1 of the 9 on steed.

Yikes! Maybe I have spoken too soon. Here's hoping SS will have this ready for SDCC. I will be very disappointed if there is not a major LOTR pre-order opportunity available.....

Oh I think we'll get a PO or two during Comic-Con. I'd be really really shocked if we didn't with as many products that have to be near that spot in the process.

I would guess that we get one Premium Format and one maquette for the Lord of the Rings license at Comic-Con, with one more for each line to follow in the fall. The Q&A seems to suggest that Sauron and Saruman are the "regular scale" premium formats due next year, but the RWOS might have a longer lead time (hopefully allowing for a more forgiving flexpay schedule!)

I would think we will definitely see the Arwen maquette pre-order, a few new SNEEK PEEKS on upcoming maquettes and PFs and probably a HUGE OF reveal...likely the Sauron or Saruman.
