yeah yeah yeah :thwak. The only thing I can say is in my younger years I drank and drank a lot. Some nights though you just went to the bar for a couple with your buddies and leave to get some sleep. I'm sure details will emerge from people that were at the bar about how much they had to drink or how he seemed before he left. Since it did happen I'm just trying to stay positive and hope drinking and driving wasn't the cause. Regardless of who was driving.

Go back and read my posts. There was an "if" in it, because...

That's how I feel too. But if it turns out him and his mate were smashed and either of them drove in that state then its his own stupid fault.

:lecture:lecture:lecture :exactly::goodpost:

Even back when I was a lush, if my designated put a beer to his lips I called a friend or a cab.

well l think it's now confirmed there will never be another ******* movie. i''m sure the other guys wouldn't want to make another one with out him. too bad.

You never know. There would be a few of them who would be out of work if they didn't.

l don' think there will be another. Dunn is gone. bam is sick of it. Knoxville is getting old. hes 40 now. l hope there will be another, but l doubt there will be another. maybe something smaller scale but not a ******* 4.

I finally saw the twitter picture. Plastic cups? Classy. I remember those type of college bars. Just the kind of place that would let someone drive drunk.

Not sure you even needed an "if". Dude and buddy are out drinking till 2:20 am. Die in a huge ball of flame shortly after. It doesn't take an Einstein to figure this one out.

Sorry kiddies, but this dude autodarwinated and took his drinking buddy with him.

sorry, I have no sympathy who drunk or not, was stupid enough to throw his car over a guard rail, killing his passenger as well. Would this be a big news story if they survived and killed some innocent driver? We don't know for sure if he was drunk, but obviously, speeding was a factor here.

"Preliminary investigation revealed that speed may have been a contributing factor to the accident".

It is pretty clear in the article.

Damn, now it's coming out that the passenger was a SEAL.

"The passenger was Zachary Hartwell, one of the men posing in the photos Dunn posted to Twitter of himself drinking with friends just hours before the crash. Hartwell was a Navy SEAL with three tours of duty in Iraq, RadarOnline.com reports. He had been married less than a year, to wife Rachel."

That's ____ed man. There is a time and place to thrash your high performance car and after drinking isn't the time and on a city street isn't the place.

Well when the news say he could only be identified buy what was left of his tattoos you know it ain't good

Watched TMZ today and they were attacking those who attacked Ryan Dunn's death. Seems if he was driving drunk and took a newly married SEAL with him then everyone has every right to be pissed at Dunn.

F'n A :( :slap

You should be pissed at Dunn. What happened to him and his passenger is a stupid waste, and it's caused a hell of a lot of people a hell of a lot of heartache and pain.

However, you can't say anyone deserves that or anything close to it. I understand how you can think that, but to be quite honest, he didn't "deserve" to die. He deserved to get busted and thrown in jail and to serve his time to pay for his stupid decisions. The tragedy of this situation is someone else paid for those decisions with their life as well, but they both made bad decisions that night. Neither of them deserved what happened to them.

I reserve the death penalty for a very select few offenses, and I don't count this among them. Many of you probably won't agree with me, but I can't change your minds nor will I try to because your opinions are just as valid as mine when it comes to a subject like this.

Yeah anyone that wants to say he deserved it or take the piss out of this situation are heartless ____ing arse holes who need to take good hard look at themselves because they've got serious issues.
He ____ed up and paid the ultimate cost. You can't condemn Dunn taking his mate with him. The guy was a SEAL which means he was probably an intelligent guy. They both knew the dangers a chose to ignore them.
I sympathies more with Bam and all his other friends and family. I don't really care for Bam much and never have but I feel for him and Dunns family

The only good thing that has come of this is that no one outside of the car was injured or killed.
Which is a scenario that all to often happen when people want to be idiots with their cars

It's heartbreaking to watch a person's loved ones mourn their loss. I feel terrible for Dunn and Hartwell's family, friends, and the ******* crew.

That being said, I know they have yet to determine if alcohol was involved, but considering the tweeted photo, I feel it's important to get the message of "Don't drink and drive" out there. Even if Dunn and Hartwell were not drunk, going 110+ mph was simply reckless and stupid. That's putting it mildly, really.

l had two friends about 5 years ago die the exact same way. leaving a bar then see their car on the news. drinking and high speeds is what caused it. same here. being young and dumb.
