Guess those toxicology reports won't take 4-6 weeks as previously said...this just goes to show that when someone really wants something done, it can be done in a very short period of time. Medical tests do not take 4-6 weeks to complete. I don't know why those numbers are so frequently thrown around.

I think it's a failsafe number to give them time to conclude their investigation. I'm sure there are other drugs tests and tox screening that could take longer. But blood alcohol tests are pretty quick to do since they have road side tests here in Canada.

What he did was beyond stupid, it was criminal and put everyone else on that highway in extreme danger. My grandparents were killed by a drunk driver and I have zero sympathy or tolerance for these self centered _______s who decide to put strangers' lives at risk for their own reckless desire for danger and "fun". Gamble with your own life all you want but as soon as you start gambling with an innocent life you are worse than a *******.

This is my synopsis of the Roger Ebert vs Perez Hilton thing.

Ebert:people who kill themselves are jackasses

Perez Hilton and TMZ:How dare you criticize the integrity of someone, you're heartless and a horrible person.

Irony. Perez Hilton and TMZ make a living off of skewering people living or dead. I think its more of generational or culture(counterculture) thing than anything.

Most people don't appreciate the lifestyle of the rich and/or famous youth that flame out like they do all the time. IMO its hard to feel sorry for someone who made a lot of money and made an impression on the youth from basically being a total idiot. The guy was obviously not very concerned about his welfare for many years when doing stuff that gets you injured is your claim to fame.

When that bites you on the ass, its hard to say, "wow totally sad and unexpected". The whole playing with fire will get you burned thing, you know?

Had to read this a few times to figure out your point. :lol

I'm not saying people should feel sorry for the actions behind it. I have already said it was stupid.....

However imagine if it was you father, brother or best friend for a min and everyone was saying in not so many words "he was stupid so F him". No one has come right out and been that bad about it, but there is a lot of negativity towards him. Yes, what he did was stupid. We all know that and so do his friends and family, but the "it wasn't my friend so who cares" attitude from some is poor.

Loss of life is loss of life if it comes from cancer, no fault accidents or being stupid. As I said how many of us have some stupid crap and gotten lucky? I've driven over 150 mph in my old Porsche before. Was it stupid? Yes, but I wasn't thinking I'd die or that anything would happen. People set out to have fun. Not to kill themselves or other people.

Well said Kit.

I could come up with a long checklist of things that I have done when I was younger that I could have harmed myself or others. It wasn't about being selfish, it wasn't trying to be cool(maybe a little). It was living in the moment and having fun. I know when I was young I thought I was invincible. Why? Because nothing bad ever happened. No serious wrecks, no police incidents (that I was at least in trouble for, close calls.... oh yea) Anyway, sometimes people don't learn until they get burned or have a wake up call. I'm sure it is even worse when your rich and famous. Maybe this will be a wak eup call for Bam Margera or some of the other guys from the JA crew. Bottom line, mistakes were made that ended two young lives. Thankfully no one else was hurt...

Damn, now it's coming out that the passenger was a SEAL.

"The passenger was Zachary Hartwell, one of the men posing in the photos Dunn posted to Twitter of himself drinking with friends just hours before the crash. Hartwell was a Navy SEAL with three tours of duty in Iraq, RadarOnline.com reports. He had been married less than a year, to wife Rachel."
The only reason I'm bumping this is that I am now hearing the passenger was not a SEAL. The part I quoted was from a news link but must have been wrong. Sorry for the misinformation.

I don't see anything prophetic in those videos. People who wreck 9 cars will eventually wreck their 10th. Its not really surprising is it?
