The more I see of this movie, the more I am thinking that I can overlook the ape CG. I think I can really enjoy this film. The UK trailer really shows some depth to the story.

You can litteraly go to the zoo shop and buy a silverback gorilla or a chimp that looks like ceaser. I'm pretty sure hot toys wouldnt make a silverback gorrila unless it's like distinct or somthing.

^I dnt think so because Caesar isnt an ordinary chimp. And zoo figures arent as detailed or as articulated as a HT figure.

with this whole gorilla/ape hollywood movie rise.. i am hoping if this does well at the box office and critically praised... this better set in motion a remake of Congo, the book was great, but the movie was just well not good, fun, but not anything close to the book. a remake, with the CGI now, and better actors would make Congo into a great film.. give the late Michael Crichton his due
