The CGI doesn't really look all that great to me. But it does look passable and I still want to see the movie.

No part of that looked 'fake' to me. At all. Now the test is when it interacts with something that IS real. King Kong, as great as the effects were (on Kong at least) still had some composite issues.

The trailer looks good but so did Burton's version. I fully expect the only good thing to come out of this is the CGI work on the Apes.
