Robert Rodriguez's PREDATORS Movie Thread - SPOILERS

You guys haven't even seen the movie... Your entire 'argument' revolves around a 'leaked' script that was out months ago, etc.

The leaked script (s) were deliberately released so that people like you (who think they know it all) would make fools of themselves on message boards.

So you wouldn't try ruining the movie before people had seen it.

Get it through your heads, the leaked scripts are 99% fake. Why would anyone believe what a bunch of kids have to say about an unreleased movie, why would we think otherwise, c'mon.

When the movie comes out, it will be obvious that the only facts you guys had were what was official released to the media by FOX, etc.

You guys aren't movie insiders, despite your desperate attempt to fool other people into thinking you are.

If FOX was that stupid, you guys would be making this movie.

You have nothing to do with it at all, you're just the fake spoiler bait.

You fell into their spoiler-trap, simple as that.

Ok dude, your lack of logical reasoning is beginning to irritate me.

Lets say they released a fake script like you are saying. Then what would the original script look like? Maybe a little bit different, with some details removed from the fake one. Because CP claims that pretty much every scene in the script is in the trailer.
Now what about the plot/story? Watch the trailers, and tell us another story thats not in the script. Are they on Earth? Arent they being hunted by Predators? Arent there alien-dogs, and falcons?

Im not trying to prove you entirely wrong, but I do find you're mostly talking trash. Mostly. (see what I did there? )
As RR said, he put in the false ending to see who's leaking the script. Or if it was really on purpose, then its because they wanted to know how the audience/predator fans would react to it.

I agree there although some people seem to prefer avp-r which I've never reallly been able to understand unless it was simply for the creature designs. Hopefully this new predators movie will make us forget about them both.

reason i couldn't stand AVP is because they made the preds look like weakasses, according to that film the preds can't take care of a few xeno's without shoulder canons - which reminds me, there were WAY more xenos running around than humans in the film, that never made sense to me!

however the one thing that pissed me off the most was that the preds looks so weak! - i thought was just straight up insulting to predheads: chopper gets taken out after getting maybe 2 scenes, celtic has a little hand to hand with ONE xeno and then gets jawpunched by grid alien, and then of course we have scar who get facehugged at some point, makes a human friend for no good reason (there was absolutely no reason for him to leave alex alive let alone team up with her) and then he goes off and has his final show down with the queen

also, how were these xenos jawpunching through predator bios so easily? and then some predator metal would melt from xeno acid (armor) and some wouldn't be harmed at all (scar's knife)

so the pred bios are able to show xrays or a chestburster growing inside a person, so how come NONE of the preds who picked up scar's body were able to scan em for infestation before they decided to leave him in an unsupervised room!?

forget the human characters (they were all SO! poorly written) the preds were portrayed to be total morons

paul w. anderson claimed to be a "huge" avp fan ... and he delivers THIS sort of crap!?

reason i liked avp:r more is cause after avp, anything was going to be decent imo

yea, dumb idea to send in ONE pred to clean up a huge mess like that, but i liked how wolf handled everything, i liked how they went back to a slimmer design on the pred, the look of the film was a good mix between alien/predator, and also the way the pred saw through the bio, was restored to the way it looked in the previous film, infrared!! not freaking crisp 3d animation with 3d maps

also, avp = rated PG13, i mean seriously!?

AvP-R has NOTHING good about it. NOTHING. Bad acting, bad characters, bad story, bad effects, bad creature effects...its violent for no reason, has ugly camera work, and the post production darkness.

Aside from the bias, it ruins all the other films before it, destroys the continuty of Alien through, and makes Ripley's stuggle moot.

AvP-R is worse then bad.

i think AVP made ripley's struggle moot, the whole time she's struggling to not let a single xeno get anywhere near earth, what do we see in AVP, oh yea a alien queen frozen inside some pyramid, buried under ice and a 90 minute PG13 "journey" - don't get me wrong, i dislike both films, but AVP just pushes my buttons like nothing else ... it was a waste of opportunity to make something really awesome, AVP:R seemed like the apology to the fans that backfired
