It's a bit similar to the ones us guys made when we got asked if we wanted to see Sex and the city 2

Or the face I make during 2 hours of Harry Potter nerd-torture when my wife drags me along. What.. 6 times now about to be 7 shortly (new movie coming soon)!? :lol

They're all basicly mercenaries. They kill people all around the world. It would make sense they speak other languages.

So ____ing read it.

Who says there's no tension? There's a ton in the script. Theres really only 3 scenes with the Hellhounds, and thats it.

The reason why movies were easier to make back in the 80's and 90's were, people used to be wowed by good stories...not special effects.

Which is why less and less good films are made each year.

Avatar is a perfect example. a not so good movie but with amazing special effects. awesome special effects do not make a movie great.

The Predators were the least of the film's problems. However, it did TRY to be original. I'll give it that. It didnt try to be a direct copy of Predator, or Alien...but it didnt work either.

It never felt gritty, or intense. These films need to have that sense of grit.

But you also gotta have a hint of cheese in a Predator movie. Just a taste.

Hollywood has always catered to the masses. It's the masses that changed. 80's people wanted slasher horror films, and violent, cheesy action movies. 90's people wanted horror comedy's, and girtty cop dramas. 2000's, people want torture porn, PG-13 horror, and sparking vampires.

Good. Go do them, and stop _____ing about silly things on a forum. :lol:dunno

You seriously need to evolve a cinematic eye, your acting like some movie guru on here but your taste is terrible and you know nothing about moviemaking. Your only excuse is that your young but that's about it.

Oh, i'm acting like a guru huh? Yeah, because i'm the super picky about how each shot is.

Because i'm _____ing exessively about something without giving specific reasons about why the shot is "terrible". Just saying it is...for the fun of it correct?

I actually know a few things or two about film making. I've actually made some low budget, crappy films. They arent groundbreaking...they arent worth noting...but i've done 'em. I've shot 'em, edited 'em, even won a film contest with one of 'em. I know how a film is made. Do I know how to make a character likeable? No. Not yet. Do I know how to tell a story perfectly so that the audience can understand? No. Not yet. But I will. Because i'm leaaarrrrrnnniiinng.

Have you ever picked up a camera and made a short film? Should I be a ____ and get all personal with you because you're being a troll?

:impatient:

Be a bit pickier please.:lol

Because it is badly acted, i mean i shouldn't have a grown men acting childish on a playground feeling when i watch a movie that is supposed to be about tension. It is badly shot, there is no attention to lighting or interesting framing, there is no atmosphere to speak of. Anyone with a camera could have shot and directed this, there is no skill involved.

You can learn about the technique but darn it you can't learn to have good taste unfortunately.

I personally haven't made a short film no.....and.........:wave

The troll thing doesn't work, the term is mostly used by people who can't differentiate a turd from a pearl and blame other for being able to do so.

Concerning the Japanese Trailer: That's a mixture of "shot for trailer" crap + raw footage + actual films shots, correct? Because in some scenes it looks like a movie, and in some scenes it looks like home video footage you'd see for "Behind the scenes" stuff. And what's up with the actors talking directly to the camera!?

Someone.. SPLAIN!?

that all comes down to bad directing. and the actors looking into the camera, again bad directing. a movie like this should not have a combat style camera were the camera is running and moving with the characters. that really only work great with war movies.
