That was pretty lackluster, and by that, I'm referring to the lack of really new footage, most of that was covered already in the sneak video.

yeah I think they don't wanna reveal to much, which is a good thing in many cases.

Undestandable, I was just hoping for something more than the sneak video, but for anyone not going online following it all, it will be fresh stuff.

Yeah not much new in that trailer but heres hoping that the human characters will be worth watching. The guy with the glasses will surely be the first to die!...or the convict...or the guy with the minigun. I bet the minigun is fired but doesn't get to kill a single thing.

Didn't know about that tattooed swordsman guy at all so I guess that was something new in the trailer.

He does die first. Predator gets him in a trap, and kills him after.

yeah but the new trailer, dangerous people rounded up into a team? How is that more dangerous than predator 1 where it was a squad of guys that are trained killers that work as a team? I hope this film is good but after the two sideshows that were AVP I'm not holding my breath.

Just a different mix, less obedient and possibly more unpredicable. They may not work well together too without a set hierachy, and may have different moral outlooks. Yeah those AVP films were not too fantastic eh?

It will be interesting to see if they do a good job of justifying the selections of the people they take. In Predator 1 and 2, they were just on a hunt on earth, anyone in the region that posed enough challenge was game, but this movie features a hand picked group, just being a criminal or in organized crime isn't enough to justify being good game, so hopefully Rodriguez' notion that each could star in his own film will hold true and you get to know these guys.

I can't remember his name..he's the one that got beat up badly and DeNiro shot him to ease his pain.

The a lot lasers on Brody,my guessing should be the last screen of the movie..
Lot of predators already at there waching them early just like predator 2 end,or could be wrong just my 2 cents...

Despite reservations, I'm now getting a warm feeling about this film. It seems to have a lot of respect for the original Predator, if not the underrated P2, and seems to be keeping the big game hunter vibe of the Predators.

And full marks for the cast, they look like a good mix - a radical change from the close teams of the previous films.

But hopefully that wont happen.

And the laser scene is NOT the end of the movie. It's in the middle. The firefight is at the end.
