Think about....how long has it been since an A LIST actor has starred in either an Alien or Predator film?

You think he's an "A-LIST" actor!? You're putting way too much emphasis on that Best Supporting Actor award Brody won 8 years ago. Hilary Swank is a 2x Best Actress award winner. You think she's an "A-LIST" actor too?

When and why did Reese Witherspoon become A-list? I don't doubt that she is but I don't understand it. I wouldn't call myself a fan of her on any level. But thats just me.

It's because of those horrendous Legally Blonde movies, "Sweet Home Alabama", her Oscar winning Best Actress role in "Walk The Line" and "Monsters vs. Aliens" which grossed over $300 Million. She's been in a lot of movies that have done well at the box office.

Well spoken Devil! Besides, look at this Brody guy...he should be auditioning for the next toucan sam on a cereal box of fruit loops. Follow his nose....you can't miss it. Brody may be a good actor, but I just can't picture him as the main marine character for such a big role. He just doesn't have that tough guy look, more like a sad puppy.

You know the guys who look " tough " are usually the ones who aren't. I know in an action film the main character should look like someone who can handle himself but I think some of you are jumping the gun a little. Give him a chance , he can act better than anyone in the last two movies ( if not all of them ) and I think that matters more than looking like an action hero.

heheh yea it was on in the 80s right before Die Hard. Im not too sure but I think those were the Roger Moore Bonds.

Remember Michael Keaton was protested against when he was cast as Batman, he was known for his comedic roles before Batman.

Jason Statham was very funny in Snatch and Lock, Stiock and I never thought he would be an action star later on in his carrer.

Here's hoping to Brody to give us a great character

Hey guys, here's a cool shot from the alternate trailer that's showing up.

In it, there's a quick shot of a Pred running through a burning area.

Someone has managed to get a great shot of that scene.

You can see that it's the "classic" Pred after he's set free.
You can also see that he's wearing, what looks like, a "classic" Pred bio.

I think there'll be some really cool visuals in this movie. One thing I like about Rodriguez is how wild he can make some of the on screen action.

me thinks they just gave away the ending....that pred wont DIE, he needs to meet dutch later in pred 1. its plausible, IMO.

No, this movie takes place AFTER the first Predator movie.
