the predators kinda looks fat or is it just me? also the bio masks looks weird and not as cool as the previous ones.
anyway, i hope this movie kicks a**!

Look I really believe you can't tell if somebody is perfect for a role until you have seen the movie in its entirety.

Tom Selleck was picked for Indiana Jones and Christopher Walken might have been Han Solo, were those guys wrong for the role? Maybe, but we will never know as it's hard to imagine anybody other than Ford playing both. Only with hindsight will we truly know if Brody is wrong, and I bet opinions will still be split

well, the people on here bashing the cast aren't doing it because they're film school valedictorians.
they're just finding excuses to nerd-rage about a predator sequel that arnold and glover aren't in.

the same thing happened before star trek came out last year and it turned out to be ____ing awesome.
will they now try to bash star trek just to disprove my point? let's hope so. anyway, i'm pretty stoked to see this movie.

I know this isn't directed towards me for the simple fact that you mention F'n Star Trek. :lol I've never been a fan of ANY incarnation of that franchise. Never have and never will. Never understood the appeal.

that's weird. i was just gonna say you're too sophisticated to watch star trek.
good thing you mentioned it first. that was a close one.

wait, what's this topic about?

you mean to say they have the same battle/hunting dress on?

i thought rodriguez took the franchise as something happening before predator 1 with dutch....what was i thinking.:lol

This movie takes place before 1987?? I don't think its possible when Brody has been seen with the AA12 shotgun, which is a fairly new weapon.

~~~My only criteria that'll make or break this movie is cheesy one liners. I need to hear them. I want the damn sexual tyrannosaurus line, I want the p***y as big as a house joke, and I definitely want "pushing too many papers" joke while they got buff dudes air arm wrestling.
It will be ineteresting to see how this group interacts with one another. One enjoyable thing about Dutch's team and the marines in ALIENS was that they did a good job with writing and performance to make you believe these guys have been working with each other for some time and know each other's quirks and have pet peeves with one another and all, made you feel like you happened to be waching a moment in their lives and not just a bunch of people thrown together that clearly don't know each other, though of course in PREDATORS, they're not meant to know each other.
I'm not going to judge whether an actor can do the job untill after i've seen the film.
Reason being is I ignored the first Bourne film for over a year as I thought it was rediculous to have Matt Damon in the role of a bad ass spy/assassin. Now I think he was the perfect choice for the role and love the film/trilogy.
I thought Tobey Maguire was a bad idea for Peter Parker, but liked him in Spiderman 1&2 (Have not seen 3 yet).
Even though I did not care one bit I think that most people thought that Heath Ledger was a bad choice for the Joker. Now he is thought by most to be the best Joker ever.
Most people thought that Daniel Craig was the worst possible choice on the Bond short list, but after Casino Royale most changed their mind.
Brody may just fall into this catagory hopefully.
That's pencils. :D
Nah.. like I said, never been a fan of Star Trek. Never watched any of the TV shows and never really liked any of the movies. I could just never get into it. Obviously I'm familiar with what it is and I've caught bits and pieces here and there.. but nothing ever got me interested enough to actually be a fan or like it.
Honestly.. even the things I do like, I don't like on the same level as some other people I've seen (including people on this board). It doesn't mean the world to me, it's not an obsession and none of it was "life changing" or anything. Like you'll never catch me dressing up or playing with toy/replica weapons from a film, getting tattoos from ANY movie no matter how much I like it or claiming "Jedi" or some ish as my religion. :lol
Not judging either.. I'm just saying for me personally, nah.
Loved Star Trek in the cinema but to be honest it doesn't hold up well under repeat viewings I've found. I think I prefer a few of the others.
If you don't like Star Trek at all, you're never going to like the new one. I really like Trek and I thought it was a great entry into the series, but I find it pretty true to Trek of old, so if you're not into that it's just a fresh take on the same things you don't like.
Too bad they weren't clever enough to give this one the old Gort helmet, which was the original helmet for P1. That would have been a huge nod to the serious fans, and we'd finally get to see what he looks like with it. It would also help make him a little different than P1 while still pretty much being P1 in design.
As it is, this is an easy way for Hot Toys to repachage and resell the P1. If they don't, the exisitng P1 is going to reach Asia Exclusive Ancient prices after July.
Not true. I think Star Trek is boring and dull....yet this movie was pretty freaking amazing. Every second rules.
