excellent news! Got edition 593 so it means it's a boy! just taken pics and everything looks spot on Ant. It is a beautiful sculpt and I can't see any Inperfections. Just spent 5 minutes fixing the mask issue which I think I've done and will share that with you all once I post the pics up which I'll try and do this evening.

Okay guys, unboxed the Hawkeye PF this evening and am happy to report hat everything has arrived in perfect condition and is such a beautiful sculpt. It has arrived just as described from the pictures shown on the SSC website and considering there were quite a few QC issues early on, I'm happy to have a great piece with fantastic paint app. The Mask was slightly on the unlevel side as so many others are. Some have chose to leave theirs in fear of damaging it but as a perfectionist I wanted to try and level out each side so that they were at least 95% level. Instead of using the hairdryer technique I have moulded a ball of blu-tac (the size of a pea) and fit in inside the right hand side, once I've placed it in between the head and mask this will open up the side of the mask which you need to come out more and it works like a treat! Massive thanks to Lee at CollectiblesDirect for such a great service and immaculate packaging as ever. Top Seller!

Congrats looks awesome I'm undecided on fixing the head yet not sure . The stand really shows how great the statue is

Try to give it a go Ant, it is a very easy fix, much easier than the hairdryer technique. The difference as you can see is so much better.

Thanks very much Jay! When i opened up the box and put him together, it really brought me back to the old school Marvel Comic PF's released in the past by SSC like Thor and Captain America. Really great sculpt and the final character to complete my Avengers line-up along with Thor, Captain America, Hulk and Iron Man

Kind words Quimper, definately a piece that you should see inhand. As mentioned above, the sculpt and paint apps took me back to some of the SSC old school PF's and thats gotta be a good thing in my book!

Its his Marvel hearing aid intercom! Nah, its the piece of blu-tac that i was referring to a few posts ago. Its what ive used to push the mask forward to make it more level. I'll post a pic of a comparison shot with Ants Hawkeye Headsculpt and you'll see what i mean. Its only temporary and besides you dont see it when you have him posed from the front as opposed to the angle from behind

Here is the comparison shot with Ants and my headsculpt.

Mine arrived similar to Ants mask so I wanted to open the mask out a bit more to make the sides more level...
